Nano Particles in Cosmetics Pose Safety Danger to Consumers

Cosmetics and sunscreens are increasingly using nano particles in their formulations, despite there being no testing whatsoever on the safety of these nano-sized ingredients. What we do know, however, is that nano particles penetrate the skin and go right to the bloodsteam. From there, they likely get lodged in tissues of the heart, lungs, brain, kidneys and other organs. Consumers, as usual, are being treated as guinea pigs on this issue.
