The carbon dioxide emitted from the burning of fossil fuels is literally eating away the world's coral reefs, scientists have warned. And if we don't stop producing yet more CO2, we are going to acidify the oceans beyond the point of return, destroying coral all around the world. Next time you go skorkeling, kiss the coral reefs goodbye.
