(NaturalNews) Talk show host and author Michael Savage has compared liberalism to a mental disorder, and it's hard to disagree with that, especially when you consider some of the outrageous things liberal writers have spewed over the years.

With that, it appears that another one – Jeffrey Tayler, a well-known anti-Christian hatemonger – has lost his mind as well. Writing at uber-liberal Salon, he asserts that the Bible is nothing but fiction, even though much of what is written in the Bible is historical and has been verified through other writings and archeology. He also claims that Christians are the problem with American society and that faith-based politicians like Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, a GOP presidential contender, are America's enemies.

He also compares God to a rapist. It's no wonder that Christians – of which a majority of our founders claimed to be – have felt like they've been under attack for years. Whether it's through hit pieces like the tripe spewed by Tayler or gay rights extremists who want Christian churches destroyed, it's hard to argue that Christians aren't correct in their assumption.

What's even more hypocritical is that the very news outlets that attack Christians routinely also ridicule anyone who claims that Christians are under assault, labeling such accusers as nothing more than right-wing nut jobs.

Liberal intolerance once again on display

Intellihub notes:

Now, the liberal media[']s hate for all Christians may have revealed itself a little too much after a disgusting article published on the hard left clickbait rag Salon.com called for showing Christians across the country no respect while mocking the religion in an obnoxious know it all tone.

He begins his hit piece by whining about the fact that a number of high-profile public figures openly and proudly tout the Bible as a guiding instrument in their lives. Who else but a liberal would hate a book that promotes a belief system based on civility, honesty, integrity and love? Next, he lists some "rank absurdities" he says are contained within the Bible's text. He also offers this shocker: he compares the Lord Almighty to a rapist and Mary, mother of Jesus, to a sexual assault victim.

Nice, huh?

He writes:

Yes, absurdist. The Bible is brimming with rank absurdities that insult our intelligence and affront our dignity as twenty-first-century, post-Enlightenment humans residing in one of the most developed countries on Earth.

Developed, yes, in some ways, but obviously not so much in others. If we're going to use descriptors, let's not forget this one: intolerance, which is a trademark of liberalism.

Insulting one-seventh of the planet

He continues:

Our soi-disant "savior" was born not following intercourse between a man and a woman, but as a result of God "debauching" (to use Thomas Paine's word) an unconsenting (per Matthew) virgin two millennia ago. (By today's standards, Mary would be entitled to file sexual assault charges against the Lord, all the more so since He, according to the Bible, must have been at least four thousand years her senior, and occupied a position of authority over her. Imagine the settlement she could get!).

Are you cackling with laughter yet at such a clever guy?

By now you are probably wondering what kind of person would engage in such theater of the absurd by comparing the God worshipped by billions of people to a rapist. However, you have to know who Tayler is. He is someone who disparages faith, the core of the Christian religion, while holding up science to a manmade altar, as if science has never been wrong about anything.

You can read the rest of Tayler's bile here. Or, if you're like us, you can simply choose to boycott Salon in general, choosing instead to spend your precious time reading news and information from those who don't make a living insulting one-seventh of the planet.
