Eating heavy metals more dangerous to your health than SMOKING: Watch this urgent presentation (it could save you from EARLY DEATH)

Heavy metals

(NaturalNews) As expected, my recent announcements about heavy metals in various unscrupulous superfood products has all the "dirty foods" propagandists running around at full steam, screaming to every corner of the internet that all heavy metals found in superfoods (or dietary supplements) are "naturally occurring" and therefore don't count.

I'm going to be blunt about all this. The reason so many of these fringe raw food / detox people seem so crazy is because they're severely intoxicated by heavy metals. I've observed the pattern for years. Isn't it curious that the very same people who claim heavy metals are "safe" are the ones who are selling contaminated products for profit, while downplaying any risks of heavy metals?

"Metals being persistent keep accumulating and magnifying with increase in trophic level of food chain," says the abstract of this science paper entitled "Heavy metals in vegetables: screening health risks involved in cultivation along wastewater drain and irrigating with wastewater." It goes on to explain:

Accumulation of heavy metals [from food] beyond permissible limits affects vital organs like, kidneys, bones, liver and blood and causes serious health hazards. Health effects associated with heavy metals like, cadmium, copper, lead and chromium include gastrointestinal effects, renal impairment, neurological disorders, cardiovascular troubles, bone problems, convulsions, paralysis etc. Metals, because of their solubility in water, are toxic and the toxicity can be acute or chronic dependent upon exposure-time (Dorne et al. 2011; Jarup 2003). Toxicological studies have found heavy metals to be carcinogenic, teratogenic, mutagenic and neurotoxic (European Union 2002).

Why heavy metals contaminated superfoods give you an energy surge

Here's something very few people realize: Consuming mercury or cadmium gives you a temporary "high" burst of energy.

Yep, that's right. Mercury makes you feel awesome for a short period of time. Cadmium is a stimulant almost like coffee. One of the reasons so many people feel so great after consuming heavily contaminated superfood products is because they're getting the "high" from the heavy metals. This is also why mercury was used as medicine for centuries: It made people feel great! Yet, at the same time, it was killing them in the long term.

When I see people consuming huge quantities of contaminated superfoods and "detox" products, they're always frantic, displaying high energy and seemingly unbounded levels of "mad hatter" behavior. This no coincidence. They are heavy metals poisoned, but they mistake the side effects for "energy."

Ignorance about heavy metals, it turns out, can quite literally cost you your health.

The presentations and videos you must see

Two years ago, I already demolished the absurd argument of "naturally occurring" heavy metals in these products through this authoritative video presentation that explains the issue in detail.

Here's the video:

I also designed and published this highly informative infographic which explains how toxic heavy metals end up in foods and supplements:

In March of this year, I also published this updated heavy metals explanation video which brings even more scientific expertise to the subject. You can view it here, too:

Conclusion

I just happen to know a formulator of a superfoods company whose products were filled with surprisingly high levels of toxic heavy metals.

That formulator died six months ago and wasn't even 50 years old. His company continued on without him, desperately pretending he never died so they could keep selling products to the public... products leaded with so much heavy metals content that both the federal government and state of California were hounding his company over high lead content.

If you want to follow in his footsteps -- to an early grave -- keep consuming toxic superfoods sold by dishonest companies who buy cheap, contaminated ingredients from China and then market them in the USA as "high vibration" superfoods. (Yes, when I run these products in my lab, I can always tell who's buying the cheap garbage from China. You'd be surprised to learn all their names...)

If, however, you actually want to live a long, healthful life that's free of cancer and other diseases, eat clean food (and stop poisoning yourself). Listen to someone who knows what they're talking about on heavy metals. I run a state-of-the-art laboratory facility, using ICP-MS and LC/MS-TOF instrumentation for detailed mass spec analysis of foods and supplements. I do all the science myself, including method development, data analysis and quality control. My laboratory is internationally accredited by ISO, via their 17025 laboratory accreditation protocols which are extremely strict and require two years of testing, audits and inspections to acquire. I'm the owner of two ICP-MS related patents and the lead author on a new science poster that's about to be published which describes a novel method for LC/MS-TOF accurate mass quantitation and counterfeit product identification for liquid CBD supplements (hemp extracts).

Trust me when I state this: There is no one else in the natural products industry who knows more hard core science about heavy metals in superfoods.

I can only warn people so many times about this issue. At some point, it's up to each person to decide if they want to poison themselves to death while living in total denial about the reality of heavy metals toxicity. To all those who want to live in denial and keep consuming toxic heavy metals while thinking they're following a super healthy "detox" supplement protocol, I send you my condolences and best wishes that perhaps in your next life, you might be more wise and thereby bring less suffering upon yourself.

About the author:Mike Adams (aka the "Health Ranger") is a best selling author (#1 best selling science book on Amazon.com) and a globally recognized scientific researcher in clean foods. He serves as the founding editor of NaturalNews.com and the lab science director of an internationally accredited (ISO 17025) analytical laboratory known as CWC Labs. There, he was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for achieving extremely high accuracy in the analysis of toxic elements in unknown water samples using ICP-MS instrumentation. Adams is also highly proficient in running liquid chromatography, ion chromatography and mass spectrometry time-of-flight analytical instrumentation.

Adams is a person of color whose ancestors include Africans and Native American Indians. He's also of Native American heritage, which he credits as inspiring his "Health Ranger" passion for protecting life and nature against the destruction caused by chemicals, heavy metals and other forms of pollution.

Adams is the founder and publisher of the open source science journal Natural Science Journal, the author of numerous peer-reviewed science papers published by the journal, and the author of the world's first book that published ICP-MS heavy metals analysis results for foods, dietary supplements, pet food, spices and fast food. The book is entitled Food Forensics and is published by BenBella Books.

In his laboratory research, Adams has made numerous food safety breakthroughs such as revealing rice protein products imported from Asia to be contaminated with toxic heavy metals like lead, cadmium and tungsten. Adams was the first food science researcher to document high levels of tungsten in superfoods. He also discovered over 11 ppm lead in imported mangosteen powder, and led an industry-wide voluntary agreement to limit heavy metals in rice protein products.

In addition to his lab work, Adams is also the (non-paid) executive director of the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (CWC), an organization that redirects 100% of its donations receipts to grant programs that teach children and women how to grow their own food or vastly improve their nutrition. Through the non-profit CWC, Adams also launched Nutrition Rescue, a program that donates essential vitamins to people in need. Click here to see some of the CWC success stories.

With a background in science and software technology, Adams is the original founder of the email newsletter technology company known as Arial Software. Using his technical experience combined with his love for natural health, Adams developed and deployed the content management system currently driving NaturalNews.com. He also engineered the high-level statistical algorithms that power SCIENCE.naturalnews.com, a massive research resource featuring over 10 million scientific studies.

Adams is well known for his incredibly popular consumer activism video blowing the lid on fake blueberries used throughout the food supply. He has also exposed "strange fibers" found in Chicken McNuggets, fake academic credentials of so-called health "gurus," dangerous "detox" products imported as battery acid and sold for oral consumption, fake acai berry scams, the California raw milk raids, the vaccine research fraud revealed by industry whistleblowers and many other topics.

Adams has also helped defend the rights of home gardeners and protect the medical freedom rights of parents. Adams is widely recognized to have made a remarkable global impact on issues like GMOs, vaccines, nutrition therapies, human consciousness.

In addition to his activism, Adams is an accomplished musician who has released over a dozen popular songs covering a variety of activism topics.
