(NaturalNews) In the topsy-turvy, bottom-is-top, wrong-is-right world of the Obama Administration, it should not surprise anyone that the White House is doing its best to either downplay or ignore the vicious, mean-spirited, Nazi-like brutality of Planned Parenthood doctors and officials harvesting and selling aborted baby body parts for profit.

But it might shock some to learn that, instead of investigating Planned Parenthood officials for possible violations of federal law – selling fetal tissue is legal, but selling it for a profit ("valuable consideration" that "does not include reasonable payments" to cover certain costs) is not legal – the Obama Justice Department instead has chosen to investigate the Center for Medical Progress, the organization whose undercover operatives uncovered the alleged wrongdoing.

With that in mind, then, it only follows that the administration would shun any serious inquiry of potential violations of U.S. Code but focus on the potential prosecution of a Minnesota dentist who bought and paid for what he believed was a legal lion hunt in Zimbabwe – a country where citizens are not upset at all about it, despite the "media circus" and outrage being displayed by many Americans.

#LionLivesMatter more than human lives to this administration

As reported by The New American (TNA), Dr. Walter Palmer, the dentist in question, has become "the hunted" after he tracked and killed Cecil the Lion, an animal that was being tracked as part of an Oxford University study. He has become a social pariah, with social-media threats abounding – so much so that he has had to go into hiding. But in classic pile-on fashion, now the Obama Justice Department is looking into whether Palmer's hunt was illegal.

And all while "Planned Parenthood, revealed on video to have been selling the body parts of murdered babies, is receiving relatively little scrutiny," TNA reported.

The news site further noted:

While controlled trophy hunting is legal in Zimbabwe... Palmer's problems stem from the accusation that his hunt was illegal; the allegation is that he and his guides lured the lion out of his wildlife sanctuary, that the lion wasn't "fair game." Consequently, CBS Minnesota tells us, "The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced that the agency is investigating the killing of Cecil the Lion, saying it will 'go where facts lead.' The agency made the announcement via Twitter [recently]."

Theo Bronkhorst of Bushman Safaris and Honest Trymore Ndlovu, who owns the game farm where Palmer hunted have already appeared in a Zimbabwean court. They have been charged with conducting an illegal hunt; if convicted, they face up to 15 years in prison.

But is Palmer culpable of anything? Heavy.com's Sam Prince writes:

The charity Lion Aid says on its website that it will be difficult to prosecute the person who paid for the hunt, because the client did what the professional hunter tells him to do.

"A client usually has no idea about the laws and regulations of the country he is hunting in – he just buys a safari and then places himself in the hands of his professional hunter guide. Finding the client could be interesting to let him tell his side of the story, but in terms of legal prosecution this person is hardly important," Lion Aid says.

Looking for ways to punish the hunter, not the hunted

However, there is an allegation floating around that says Palmer bribed officials at Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park with $55,000 so he could hunt the lion. If that's true, Palmer could be charged in the U.S. under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, TNA reports.

What's more, Zimbabwean officials have requested Palmer's extradition to that country; the U.S. has an extradition treaty with Zimbabwe.

At this point, it looks like the Obama Administration is trying to find a way to charge Palmer or, perhaps, just extradite him to Zimbabwe and let the court system there do the White House's dirty work.

But in the end, whatever punishment is meted out to Palmer, he is being condemned for killing an animal, while the butchers at Planned Parenthood continue to snuff out human life, and all for a profit.
