(NaturalNews) It's always a good day when our hard work to protect the public interest is recognized. Recently, both myself (the Health Ranger) and Robert Scott Bell were recognized with a highly prestigious award given at the Sacred Fire of Liberty Gala, which only takes place once every decade.
The award is called the "Excellent in Health Journalism Award," and it is given to a select group of individuals who demonstrate top notch investigative journalism with a focus on health topics.
As Natural News readers are well aware, real journalism is nearly a lost art in America today. The vast majority of what gets published by the mainstream media today is merely recycled corporate propaganda (or government edicts) disguised as news. The obedient media does exactly what it is told by the government-corporate cabal, whether that means censoring the groundbreaking revelations of a CDC scientist confessing to a massive vaccine cover-up, systematically censoring the news on Ebola, or fraudulently pushing a dishonest government program like Obamacare by knowingly lying to the American people.
That's why all the real journalists who are conducting honest, independent investigations truly deserve to be recognized these days. Yes, there are many real journalists still operating today, but they primarily write for independent news sites which question the status quo.
