Yet the best payoff today seems to be in nutrition and physical fitness to postpone aging in the first place. A person who is following a healthy diet, engaging in regular physical exercise, and consuming a variety of superfood supplements like chlorella or bee pollen is going to live much longer than everybody else... and for a lot less than $3 billion.
Still, kudos to Sperling for putting his money into something that stands to produce significant benefits for humankind.
