(NaturalNews) In a recent episode of the online radio program "Health Revolt," Natural News editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, discussed a little-known "recycling" procedure that few Americans likely know much about — the recycling of your pets.

"Although many of us probably do not agree with the climate change agenda, we can probably agree that recycling is a smart practice. However, what if the recycling being done is to your dearly departed pet? Moreover, what if that same 'recycled' pet is being fed to your new pet?" says a tease for the program on the Red List News website.

That portion of the program was based on this Oct. 1 Natural News story, which noted:

"A special investigative report set to air in November is said to contain 'shocking evidence' that mega-corporations have conspired with government agencies to create a 'genetic Armageddon.'

"According to the narrator of this promotional video, three undercover journalists — Tom Horn, Joe Ardis and Donna Howell, along with the remainder of the SkyWatch investigative team — join a host of global experts in the conclusion of a multi-year undercover inquiry that exposes what the U.S. government, the [Food and Drug Administration], and monster corporations have been hiding from you."

"Changing the human race"

In his interview, Adams expounded upon the documentary's findings and added some insight of his own.

"I think this is more of an issue of veterinary deception than a food chain issue," he said, explaining that animals do eat other animals in the wild. "But this issue of [animal] euthanasia of family pets is deception by veterinarians who are getting paid to keep the bodies of these euthanized pets, and then sort of sell them out the back door to these food and cosmetic, quote, recycling companies.

"Now, if you think about it," he continued, "how are these pets euthanized? They are euthanized with a very toxic chemical that is given to each pet intravenously, first to render them unconscious, and then to stop their hearts."

"These chemicals are toxic," Adams said, "so when they go into the food supply, they end up in the dog food and have a harmful effect on pets [that] are eating that food."

The concept also presents huge ethical issues, the Health Ranger noted. He said most people, when they leave a pet with a vet to be euthanized, assume that the pet is going to be properly disposed of — not sold off and recycled.

"Things you would never approve of"

"I never leave a pet with a vet," he said. "I take that pet with me and I bury it and I have a ceremony, and I honor that pet. Return it to the earth rather than let it end up on some other company's dog food cans."

He added: "If you lose site of your euthanized pet, then believe me, things are happening to the body of that dog or cat that you would never approve of."

Regarding the Skywatch TV investigation, Horn says the team of journalists has turned up things he's not sure the world is ready to hear.

"We're talking about everything from the food that we eat, to animals and pet animals, to ultimately humans — literally, what we have been doing with genetically modified crops, what we have and are doing with trans-genetically made animals, what we fully intend to do with the human race," he said in a trailer for the video.
