(NaturalNews) You might want to avoid ever visiting, stopping at or even driving through the small New Mexico town of Deming, which is located right along U.S. Interstate 10 (I-10) in the southern part of the state -- that is unless you want to risk being repeatedly anally probed without consent by local cops. This is exactly what happened to one local man by the name of David Eckert, who was recently forced by police to undergo 14 hours of invasive procedures and surgeries following a minor traffic stop, an absolutely nightmarish violation of his civil liberties that has prompted a major federal lawsuit.

It all began when Eckert allegedly failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign as he was coming out of the parking lot of a local Walmart. Deming police officers immediately pulled Eckert over and asked him to step out of his vehicle, upon which they claim to have observed the man "clenching" his buttocks. They then used this perceived "clenching" as probable cause to accuse Eckert of hiding narcotics in his anal cavity.

During the time that he was being detained, these same officers obtained a search warrant from a judge, upon which they forcibly took Eckert to a local emergency room and demanded that doctors perform an anal cavity search on him. When they bravely refused, telling the officers that a forced anal cavity search would be unethical, the officers instead took Eckert to the Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, located in the next county over, where he was forcibly X-rayed, probed and given multiple enemas and a colonoscopy.

According to a thorough KOB.com investigation, medical records reveal that Eckert was repeatedly probed by doctors even after X-rays and other tests showed that he was not carrying any drugs. Eckert was also forced to defecate in front of both the doctors and the officers, who proceeded to search his stool right in front of him. After three enemas and multiple probings, Eckert was then forcibly sedated and given a colonoscopy.

"The thought that they could do this to a man in our country is terrifying," stated Shannon Kennedy, Eckert's lawyer, to reporters, visibly shaken and disturbed by the facts of the case. "If the officers in Hidalgo County and the City of Deming are seeking warrants for anal cavity searches based on how they're standing and the warrant allows doctors at the Gila Hospital of Horrors to go in and do enemas and colonoscopies without consent, then anyone can be seized and that's why the public needs to know about this."

Gila Hospital bills Eckert for illegal procedures ordered by miscreant cops

As if being physically violated against his will by rogue law enforcement was not bad enough, Eckert is now reportedly being billed by Gila Hospital for all the procedures that were performed on him, procedures that were illegal based on the simple fact that they took place outside the county where the warrant was issued. The last of the procedures also took place after the warrant expired, adding insult to injury.

"Our community should be outraged," added Kennedy. "This is like something out of a science fiction film. Anal probing by government officials and public employees?"

Eckert is suing the City of Deming; Deming Police Officers Bobby Orosco, Robert Chavez and Officer Hernandez; Hidalgo County Deputies David Arredondo, Robert Rodriguez and Patrick Green; Deputy District Attorney Daniel Dougherty; and the Gila Regional Medical Center's Dr. Robert Wilcox, M.D., and Dr. Okay Odocha, M.D.
