UFO expert: Extraterrestrial contact will happen soon and from water rather than air
07/05/2021 // Nolan Barton // Views

Unidentified flying object (UFO) expert Gary Heseltine believes that contact preparations with extraterrestrials should involve wetsuits and submarines.

"UFOs are often seen coming in and out of water so suspect that in our deepest oceans and trenches we may well have alien bases. That sounds crazy but if you think about it we only know 5 percent of ocean, we know more about the surface of the moon or Mars than our own oceans – so that would seem to me why UFOs are seen regularly coming in and out of water," said Heseltine, vice president of the International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research (ICER).

ICER is a new not-for-profit organization comprised of scientists, academics and leading UFO researchers from 27 countries whose mission is to prepare people for a massive psychological change once contact is made with extraterrestrial beings. Heseltine predicted that contact will happen soon – and from the water rather than the air.

UFO enters ocean without damage

Veteran documentary filmmaker and UFO enthusiast Jeremy Corbell had released footage of what the Pentagon calls a "transmedium vehicle" entering the ocean without damage. (Related: UNEXPLAINED: Navy submarines detect fast-moving unidentified vehicles underwater.)

According to Corbell, the footage was captured by the Navy off the coast of San Diego in July 2019.

The video shows a dark spherical object, seen through an infrared camera, flying over the ocean and then vanishing into water. A voice can be heard in the background saying "it splashed" as the object disappears. The leaked footage was released by Corbell on May 15.

The Department of Defense has confirmed that the video was recorded by military personnel.

The video had been sent for review and analysis to the Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) – a task force established in 2020 to gain insight into the nature and origins of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), the government's preferred term for UFO.

The admission by the military that the UFO seen by Navy personnel is a transmedium vehicle lends credence to the idea that it may have come from an underwater base. The Pentagon uses the term transmedium vehicle to refer to an unidentified craft that moves through multiple mediums, such as air, water or vacuum space.

UFO sightings by military linked to nuclear power

Heseltine linked the increasing number of UFO sightings by the military to nuclear power.

"There is a massive correlation between UFOs being seen near nuclear facilities, whether it's nuclear aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines, nuclear weapon storage areas, power plants. This would seem to indicate that it's as if they're saying 'we don't like nuclear weapons' so they show up," Heseltine said.

"Maybe they realize we could destroy this beautiful planet. If you think about it if there's World War III and we made toxic all the water then that would affect their habitat. That's why I think there's correlation with water."

He had a lifetime of UFO research to back up his claims. In 2002, while still a serving officer, he created the Police Reporting UFO Sightings (PRUFOS) database – a national database for UFO sightings for cops. He also founded or worked for a number of leading UFO publications.

In the last 75 years, high-ranking U.S. military and intelligence personnel have reported UAPs near sites associated with nuclear power, weaponry and technology – from the early atomic bomb development and test sites to active nuclear naval fleets.

UFO-nuclear connection has started decades ago

According to Robert Hastings, author of the book "UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites," nuclear-adjacent sightings go back decades. Hastings has interviewed more than 160 veterans who have witnessed strange things in the skies around nuclear sites.

"You have objects being tracked on radar performing at speeds that no object on the planet can perform," Hastings said. "You have eyewitness [military] personnel. You have jet pilots."

Witnesses to these incidents are often highly trained personnel with top security clearances. In recent years, their reports are being corroborated by sophisticated technology. (Related: Leaked Pentagon footage shows what appears to be pyramid-shaped UFOs swarming Navy warship.)

In late 1948, "green fireballs" were reported in the skies near atomic laboratories in Los Alamos and Sandia, New Mexico, where the atomic bomb was first developed and tested.

"Flying saucers" measuring almost 50 feet in diameter near the Los Alamos labs had been mentioned in a declassified FBI document from 1950.

Investigative journalist George Knapp, who has studied the UAP-nuclear connection for more than 30 years, has interviewed more than a dozen workers from the Nevada desert atomic test site – where scores of atomic bombs were detonated in the post-World War II years. He said they told him UFO activity was so commonplace there.

In the 1960s and '70s, repeated UFO sightings emerged at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, a storage site for nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).

In late December 1980, air-traffic controllers encountered something alarming near Royal Air Force Bentwaters in England. Used by the U.S. Air Force as a European foothold during the Cold War, Bentwaters housed a secret stash of nuclear weapons in 25 fortified underground bunkers.

Ivan Barker, a U.S. Air Force air-traffic controller working that night, said he and his two colleagues saw an object with remarkable speed and maneuverability. On radar, it covered 120 miles in a matter of seconds. "It had to be moving Mach 5, 6, 7 or 8 – faster than anything other than possibly a missile," said Barker, adding that the object was at least a city block in diameter.
