A rational explanation for the mental insanity of Monsanto shills: they lack the nutrition needed for stable mental health

(NaturalNews) In trying to reconcile how pro-GMO extremists, some with advanced degrees in science and other related disciplines, are able to justify endorsing imitation food sprayed with deadly chemicals in the name of "sustainability," there's only one logical conclusion: Monsanto apologists aren't getting the proper nutrients from the very food crops they endorse in order to make sound decisions or form cogent, meaningful arguments in defense of their prized biotechnology because the GMOs they consume aren't nutritionally equivalent to organic food.

By accepting all industry-funded studies that favor GMOs while rejecting all the independent ones that show problems such as organ damage and cancer, pro-GMO shills are demonstrating to the world that they lack the critical thinking skills needed to even rationally evaluate the facts and form logical conclusions. The apparent nutrient deficiencies from which many of these "skeptics" suffer have chemically lobotomized them, preventing any sort of sound evaluation of the real-life health damage being caused as a result of GMO purveyance.

Clinical psychologist Julia Rucklidge spoke a lot about nutrient deficiencies during a recent TEDx talk in Christchurch, New Zealand. She discussed the powerful role that nutrition plays in maintaining healthy mental balance, something that the hawks of chemical agriculture and corporate dominance over food seem to lack. She points to filling these nutritional gaps as a safe and viable way to overcome mental health problems, which are clearly endemic within the realm of corporate "science" that's spoon-fed to the masses as scientific fact.

"Nutrition matters," Rucklidge stated during her talk. "Optimizing nutrition is a safe and viable way to avoid, treat, or lessen mental illness... Poor nutrition is a significant and modifiable risk factor for the development of mental illness."

Inability to recognize reality a health consequence of nutrient deficiency

It's all pretty straightforward. If you're getting all the proper nutrients your body needs from real food and supplements, your brain will function as it should. If you're consuming heavily processed foods made from genetically-altered and nutritionally inferior fake food, your brain will suffer and you'll end up like University of Florida professor and Monsanto shill Kevin Folta.

Folta, as you may recall, came up with a wild conspiracy theory that Natural News had somehow attempted to "incite violence" against him after publishing an ad to Craigslist exposing his interconnected relationship with the biotech industry.

Somehow in Folta's twisted mind, revealing the fact that he's accepted large cash payments from Monsanto in exchange for lying about the safety and efficacy of the company's untested GMOs and crop chemicals constitutes trying to harm or murder someone. It can be surmised that this demented misfiring in Folta's brain is some kind of side effect of nutrient deficiency.

It isn't just GMOs that are contributing to nutrient deficits within pro-GMO circles. Industrial farming at large is depleting our soils of vital nutrients such as sulfur and magnesium that are critical for cellular regeneration, gut health, and cancer prevention, not to mention proper neural function in the brain.

As we reported earlier this year, a nutritional comparison of GMO corn to non-GMO corn conducted by the De Dell Seed Company of London, Ontario, revealed that when compared to GMO corn, non-GMO corn is:

• 14 times higher in phosphate
• 16 times higher in potassium
• 437 times higher in calcium
• 56 times higher in magnesium

Ruckland stated, "A well-nourished body and brain is better able to withstand ongoing stress."
