Clueless people blindly sign petition calling for MORE fluoride

(NaturalNews) To illustrate just how mentally challenged many people in modern society have become, a duo from HealthConspiracy.com recently walked the streets of Las Vegas, asking passersby to sign a petition authorizing the addition of more fluoride chemicals to the water supply. And even though it was clearly explained to each person that what they were signing would ultimately make children dumber, roughly half of those asked went ahead and signed the petition anyway, apparently without any conscientious awareness of what was occurring.

The full six-minute video is available on YouTube:

Nick Brannigan and Vicky LePage of Health Conspiracy Radio came up with the ingenious idea as part of a much larger campaign against artificial water fluoridation, the culmination of which is a nationwide protest set to take place on April 5, 2014. As far as their petition experiment, Brannigan and his sidekick wanted to see how educated and aware the general public is when it comes to the toxic nature of fluoride -- and what they found is truly shocking.

Even after being told verbally that fluoride chemicals are toxic and lead to lowered IQ in developing children, nearly half of the people approached proceeded to jot their names down anyway, alongside their dates of birth and zip codes, in support of adding more fluoride to drinking water. These same gullible signers obviously ignored or mentally blocked out the wording of the petition itself as well, which hilariously indicts each signer as the substantial equivalent of a brain-dead zombie.

"By signing this petition, I hereby fully support the adding of more toxic and dangerous fluoride to the drinking water of American people," reads the short petition. "I am aware of the dozens of side effects fluoride has on the human body and mind. I am selling out the physical and mental well being of the American population and believe America needs more idiots (like myself)."

One would think that any rational person reading such words would immediately pause to reconsider applying his or her signature to such a statement, regardless of whether the person supports water fluoridation or not. But as the video reveals, a shocking number of people not only glossed over the petition itself but also ignored what they were being told about its contents.

"When the fluoride goes in the water... it's shown to lower the IQ of children and we think that is something we need," explains Brannigan to one non-verbal woman who proceeds to jot down her personal information along with her signature at his request.

Others actually acknowledged what Brannigan and LePage were telling them about fluoride's toxicity and its brain-damaging effects on children yet still proceeded to sign it. One fluoride supporter, after her obviously smarter friend reads aloud the line from the petition about fluoride being toxic and dangerous, is heard not only acknowledging this fact but openly agreeing with fluoride's continued use.

"I'd rather have fluoride in my water," states the woman, to the astonishment of LePage.

Fortunately, not every person asked to sign the petition blindly agreed to it. Several folks captured on film are seen refusing the petition, with a great number of them explaining why fluoride is harmful. One woman makes an indirect reference to the calcification of the pineal gland caused by fluoride exposure, while a man tells Brannigan how fluoride chemicals are a byproduct of fertilizer manufacturing.
