(NaturalNews) If you like your doctor, we now know that you probably won't be able to keep your doctor when all is said and done as part of the Great American Healthcare Takeover. And based on statements recently made by Obamacare architect Ezekiel Emanuel, M.D., you may not even get a doctor at all.

During a recent interview with Fox News' Bill O'Reilly, Emanuel told the controversial talk show host that "you don't need a doctor for every part of your healthcare," referencing the many Obamacare enrollees who will be sent to special clinics rather than doctors' offices when they come down with an illness.

"So if your kid has a sore throat and you want to find out if it's strep throat, of your kid has what appears to be an ear infection and you want to find out if it's otitis media -- you really don't need to go to the pediatrician," says Emanuel. "You can go to these clinics."

These statements are the latest in a series of shock admissions made following the passage of a bill that was not read by a single Congressman prior to voting for it. Since it is now apparent that many doctors plan to quit practicing due to Obamacare's outrageous mandates, this shortage will mean that many enrollees will have to settle for minimized care from non-doctors.

"It's going to be one part of a complex part of the healthcare system," assured Emanuel.

Americans were never told they would lose access to doctors under Obamacare

Like the after-the-fact revelations that millions of Americans will lose their coverage under Obamacare while many more will see drastic increases in their premiums and deductibles, this latest Obamacare surprise will probably not be the last.

"The issue isn't whether this change is an efficient one for obtaining medical care," writes Michael Hausam for IJReview.com about the issue. "[T]he issue is that it's a change to the nation's healthcare system that certainly was never part of the public discussion of the healthcare bill."

"It is yet another example of arrogant government imposition upon the most intimate areas of the lives of each American," he adds. "Their attitude is that they know what is best and will therefore force it upon everyone, whether they like it or not."

When will Americans finally decide they've had enough of the tyranny?

These and other unconscionable changes being forcibly imposed on the American people in the name of "affordable healthcare" are the types of things that have kindled revolutions in the past. It remains to be seen if this is finally the straw that breaks the camel's back for Americans, many of whom continue to float along in naivety while their nation and freedoms are taken from them without resistance.

"Unless they change the laws, PAs [physician assistants] cannot practice without an MD [medical doctor] cosigner on their license," writes one CNS News commenter about the issue, referring to Emanuel's comments that PAs and others staffing Obamacare clinics are good enough.

"A shortage of MDs means PAs cannot practice because they will not be able to get an MD to cosign their license. MDs who are still practicing may not be willing to cosign a PA or even supervise them. Therefore... if [Emanuel] thinks MDs are all of a sudden going to have multiple PAs on their license, with all the liability and hassle that ensues, he is wrong."
