(NaturalNews) Sales of guns, ammo and firearms equipment are off the charts in the days following the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The mainstream media is reporting that Colorado, for example, can't even process the huge tidal wave of background checks needed for new gun purchases there. Citizens of Colorado saw the shooting in Connecticut and decided to buy more guns.
The same thing is true across the country. Gun sales have skyrocketed in the last few days on the expectation that Washington lawmakers may attempt to place new limits on the Second Amendment and restrict firearms sales in some way.
Sales of ammo magazines are also off the charts. I was spot-checking online retailers of firearms magazines today and discovered that high-capacity magazines are suddenly sold out almost everywhere.
One website that sells ammunition is now backlogged with orders, saying:

Gun grabbers are the best gun promoters
What's clear from this is that any talk of banning guns actually results in more guns being sold. Any talk of banning high-capacity ammo magazines causes more magazines to be sold.
This is why President Obama has been named by nearly every gun shop across America, "Salesman of the year!" And the more he talks about grabbing guns, the more gun sales shoot through the roof.
America is a nation of gun owners. Guns are part of the culture and part of the national defense against invaders, against tyranny and even against random psychos who threaten children. The more gun owners a nation has, the safer it is from the threat of violence or tyranny.
"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms," said Thomas Jefferson, "...is [to] protect themselves against tyranny in government."
So keep pushing for gun control, Bloomberg, Feinstein, Obama and others. Your actions are resulting in a literal fire sale of millions of new guns that are being lawfully and legally purchased by upstanding citizens across America. You are arming America, making the gun manufacturers huge profits, and motivating people who only had a passing interest in guns to hurry up and make an immediate purchase.
