(NaturalNews) Are you influenced by cultural bias and (unhealthy) modern lifestyle habits? For example, why do women wear bras? Are we lying "too flat" in our beds at night? Medical researchers suggest that these habits have the ability to promote sickness and disease. But, as we accept responsibility for our own health, and shift away from unhealthy behaviors - we can enjoy life disease-free.

We can stop Alzheimer's disease, prevent breast cancer and promote optimal health by making a few (simple) changes to our daily routine. Disease prevention is easier than you think - providing we learn how to live in accordance with natural laws. Every woman concerned about breast cancer will NOT want to miss the next NaturalNews Talk Hour.

A health alert to all women - wearing a bra can contribute to breast cancer

Although this may sound like a far-out, unconventional idea - many health professionals are beginning to think twice about the safety of a bra. The truth is that wearing a bra has the ability to easily block lymphatic drainage due to breast compression - which can lead to tissue edema, cysts and the accumulation of toxins. Naturally, if this toxic burden is not cleared away by the lymphatic system, these toxins can promote breast cancer cell growth.

Interestingly, after only a few weeks of NOT wearing a bra, many women report feeling less breast pain, swelling and cysts. If, for some reason, wearing a bra is a must (i.e. during exercise) - simply take it off as soon as possible. In addition, breast massage is a great way to improve circulation and reduce the risk of toxic buildup.

Poor sleeping habits can generate too much pressure on the brain

Everyone can agree - intracranial pressure, brain edema plus other brain dysfunctions, such as, migraines, stroke, sleep apnea, seizures and Alzheimer's disease are serious health problems. To improve brain circulation - you may want to consider sleeping with the head slightly elevated. Medical anthropologist, Sydney Singer believes that "our culture has taught us to sleep too flat, and in the wrong position, and altering sleep position has already been used to treat or prevent sleep apnea, SIDS, and stroke, and our research has shown it works for migraines, too."

Join Jonathan Landsman and Sydney Singer for an informative hour about how our modern culture and lifestyle habits could be putting us at greater risk for disease and how to protect ourselves from harm.

This week's guest: Sydney Singer, Internationally acclaimed, medical anthropologist

Sydney Ross Singer is a medical anthropologist, the author of several groundbreaking and controversial health books, and the director of the Institute for the Study of Culturogenic Disease, located in Hawaii. He is internationally recognized for his revolutionary and shocking research linking breast cancer with the wearing of tight bras, which he describes in his book, "Dressed To Kill".

Trained in biochemistry, anthropology and medicine, Sydney is pioneering a new field of health research, called Applied Medical Anthropology, shedding light on the many ways our culture is making us sick. Since his work often challenges industries that promote or profit from damaging lifestyles, much of his research has been suppressed and censored, especially by the medical industry.
