(NaturalNews) As you all may know, we in Hawaii have been waging a war against Monsanto against its use of Roundup because of the debilitating health effects caused by its active ingredient, glyphosate. To date, no politician will help as most of the key players are themselves genetically modified, including our Governor, Neil Abercrombie, and his Head of the Department of Agriculture, Russell Kokobun.
As a last resort, before seeing if any environmental group or agency would entertain filing a lawsuit, I have sent a complete package to our Attorney General, indicating the scientific findings of glyphosate's adverse health ramifications and safe glyphostae alternatives.
The following is my follow-up letter to our Attorney General. As such, I beg your help. And I mean this from the bottom of my heart with all sincerity, bury them with phone calls calling for a thorough investigation on Roundup's glyphosate, which is in clear violation of Hawaii's Pesticide Law.

Dear Mr. Louie:
Last week I dropped off a package to your office indicating the corruption of various State employees and their overt violation of the Hawaii Pesticide Law, due to their being on Monsanto's "payroll". In the package, information was revealed that Monsanto, since the 80s and the Government regulators, since the 90s, hid the fact that the glyphosate used in Monsanto's Roundup created debilitating health ramifications at any level of exposure.
This means that the children and teachers in the schools, people in general at the beaches, parks, government buildings, and government workers that administer Roundup are at risk of serious illnesses.
Our Pesticide Law says that if a pesticide has been shown to create adverse health effects, a moratorium on its use can be implemented until thorough, independent testing can be done to determine that assertion. To date, other than what I sent to you, which Monsanto has suppressed for years, the only "independent" testing done on glyphosate has been done by Monsanto's scientists.
Glyphosate is as bad, if not worse than DDT.
Recently, representing one of the most agriculturally bio-diverse nations in the world, India has become a primary target for biotechnology companies like Monsanto and Cargill to spread their genetically modified (GM) crops into new markets. However, a recent France 24 report explains that the Indian government has decided to take an offensive approach against this attempted agricultural takeover by suing Monsanto for "biopiracy", accusing the company of stealing India's indigenous plants in order to re-engineer them into patented varieties.
Brinjal, also known in Western nations as eggplant, is a native Indian crop for which there are roughly 2,500 varieties. Millions of Indian farmers grow brinjal and the country grows more than a quarter of the world's overall supply of the vegetable.
In an attempt to capitalize on this popular crop, Monsanto has repeatedly tried to commercially market its own GM variety of brinjal called Bt brinjal. But massive public outcry against the planned commercial approval of Monsanto's "frankencrop" variety in 2010 led to the government banning it for an indefinite period of time.
Despite this, Monsanto is still stealing native crops, including brinjal, and quietly working on GM varieties of them in test fields, which is a clear violation of India's Biological Diversity Act (BDA). So, at the prompting of various farmers and activists in India, the Indian government, representing the first time in history a nation has taken such action, has decided to sue Monsanto.

Bear in mind that ALL Monsanto's GM crops are heavily sprayed with Roundup, containing glyphosate, putting the entire world at risk.
Please Mr. Louie, initiate a through examination of glyphosate so we can get it out of Hawaii once and for all.
