(NaturalNews) A few weeks ago, NaturalNews.TV announced the launch of the first ever Personal Health Transformation Video Contest, where participants are asked to upload short video stories about how they healed a disease or simply improved their overall health through nutrition, healthy lifestyle, holistic treatments, and other natural interventions. The contest is not only a fun way for participants to win $1,800 in cash and prizes if their videos make it in the top three spots with the most viewer votes, but it also offers a wealth of helpful information to members of the viewing public about how they, too, can heal disease and achieve better health, naturally.

So far, the top 20 entries include stories about everything from curing specific diseases like Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, and cancer, to daily dietary regimens and lifestyle interventions that have helped improve overall health. If you have yet to take a look at some of the video entries for yourself, be sure to check them out at:

If you or anyone you know suffers from gall bladder diseases or gallstones, for instance, one video entry explains a woman's journey from being hopelessly bedridden in a hospital, to achieving healing through nutritional foods and herbs. Defying conventional medical wisdom that told her to simply have her gallbladder removed, the woman who put together this entry instead chose to give her body the proper nutrients and herbs it needed to recover on its own -- and her efforts paid off.

Another woman named Alix explains her decades-long journey with Lyme disease, and how various protocols she undertook helped her to overcome the disease. Alix explains how she suffered undiagnosed for over 18 years, and was told she would have to just take antibiotics and live with chronic pain, which included arthritis starting in her 20s, serious migraine headaches, insomnia, and other debilitating conditions that left her unable to work for many years. Alix eventually discovered several highly effective ways to improve her health and overcome the disease.

Then, there is the story of a woman with serious pancreatic and liver cancers that, after coming to grips with the fact that chemotherapy and the other conventional cancer treatments she was undergoing would only kill her in time, decided to forgo them altogether. Instead, she has implemented her own healing regimen that includes daily consumption of powerful superfoods, regular sunlight exposure, and other natural interventions.

And the list goes on and on, with videos covering success stories of people dealing with other conditions like ulcerative colitis, chronic fatigue, tapeworms, Gullaine-Barre syndrome and peripheral neuropathy, and heavy metal poisoning. The stories are deeply personal, and many are highly informative.

When viewing, be sure to vote for your favorite video by clicking the "Vote For This Video" button on the right side of each video page. Remember, you can only vote once for one video. So take some time to watch a few that are of interest to you, and support the one that means the most to you. The top three entries will receive one of these cash and prize packages that together are worth $1,800.

And if you have a personal health transformation story of your own to tell, there is still time to submit it before the February 28 deadline. For more information about entry guidelines, or to upload your video, please visit:
