Planned Parenthood is the Amazon.com of fetal body parts: Online "shopping" for intact baby organs has never been easier!

by J. D. Heyes

(NaturalNews) It's been several weeks now since news broke that Planned Parenthood officials have allegedly been selling body parts and organs of aborted babies and the Obama Justice Department has yet to announce it would launch an investigation. Federal law, you see, prohibits the sale of human parts, so if true - and a video posted online sure is damning - this seems like an open-and-shut case.

GOP presidential contender and U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and some other members of Congress are demanding an investigation nevertheless, calling the practice "evil" and pointing out that several federal statutes appear to have been violated.

But so far the administration has been silent. As such, Planned Parenthood is being allowed to continue as the "Amazon.com of the fetal parts industry," writes John Henry Westen, editor of Lifesite News, an abomination that is tearing at the very fabric of American society.

How the activities of Planned Parenthood and Amazon.com are related

"The economy is nothing like it was in the Clinton years. The dot-com bubble burst, the housing market tanked, and few industries have returned to their level of prosperity - except one," he wrote in a recent column. "The price of aborted children's body parts has increased markedly since it was first revealed in the late 1990s."

He noted that 16 years ago abortion clinics were first found to be profiting from the harvesting and trade in aborted body parts. Then, the fetal tissue industry was very small compared to the horrific monstrosity it has grown into today.

"Prices for a baby's brain under eight weeks gestation" back then "was listed at $999. Fetal gonads cost $500."

But since then an entire industry has emerged - a billion-dollar industry, diversifying into processed items to make it easier (and profitable) to harvest baby parts.

And all along, Planned Parenthood officials have regularly demurred, denied or deferred the practice the times they have been caught red-handed.

"This latest news is tragic and outrageous. This isn't about 'choice'. It's about profiting on the death of the unborn while telling women it's about empowerment," said former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, another 2016 GOP presidential contender.

Why is what Planned Parenthood is allegedly doing comparable to Amazon.com? Because both are selective with their outrage and profit-generation to focus on the most vile of behavior.

Selective outrage – and sales items

Take the recent media-created "flap" over the most common design of all Confederate battle flags, the "stars and bars." Amazon.com quickly announced it would no longer sell such flags because they were "racist," but the company continued to sell Nazi paraphernalia, one of the most evil, brutal and racist regimes to have ever existed. Opponents of the Amazon.com decision decried the denigration of Southern heritage (most Southerners don't see the battle flag as racist or pro-slavery and denounce organizations like the Ku Klux Klan, which adopted the battle flag as their symbol), while stating that Nazi symbolism is representative of pure hate, oppression and murder. Also, critics note that the profiteer merchandize website is continuing to offer flags and symbols of terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas.

Further, as we reported June 29 [here]:

In 2010, Amazon defended their right to sell the book, The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover's Code of Conduct. In response to why they felt justified to continue selling this book, Amazon released the following statement: "Amazon believes it is censorship not to sell certain books simply because we or others believe their message is objectionable. Amazon does not support or promote hatred or criminal acts, however, we do support the right of every individual to make their own purchasing decisions."

What bunk.

Planned Parenthood, as Westen notes, has a history of violating federal prohibitions against the sale or unauthorized transfer of fetal body parts to "customers." Amazon.com has a history of being selectively evil when it comes to points of view its executives have and/or side with.
