Urgent: Vote NO against GMOs in this significant online survey

(NaturalNews) A poll currently underway over at The Economist is asking people whether or not they believe biotechnology -- which refers to the use of genetic engineering in agriculture -- is compatible with sustainable agriculture. To cut to the chase, NaturalNews is petitioning all readers to drum up a resounding NO to the poll statement that genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) are compatible with sustainable agriculture, and you can do this by going to the poll site immediately and voting against it.

The statement reads, "This house believes that biotechnology and sustainable agriculture are complementary, not contradictory."
If you have followed the news here concerning GMOs, you probably already know that GMOs tend to cross-contaminate nearby conventional and organic crops (http://www.naturalnews.com/029869_GMOs_dange...). GMOs have also brought about "superweeds" that are resistant to pesticides and herbicides (http://www.naturalnews.com/027642_geneticall...).
Studies have also shown that GMOs are harmful to health because the body does not recognize them the same way it does natural food. Earlier in the year, one study found that GMO corn causes organ damage in mammals (http://www.naturalnews.com/027931_GMO_crops_...). And various other studies have linked GMOs to rapid aging, infertility, immune disorders, gastrointestinal dysfunction, insulin regulation problems, and other diseases (http://www.naturalnews.com/026426_GMO_food_G...). And the list goes on and on.
Chuck Benbrook, Chief Scientist at the Organic Center, is strongly opposed to the idea that biotechnology and sustainability are capable of co-mingling. He has provided his own statement at the poll page against the statement. And he needs your support in voting NO against the motion, which is presented and sponsored by biotechnology giant BASF, by the way.
