Hunters Who Eat Wild Game Suffer Heavy Metals Poisoning from Lead Bullets

There's something downright karmic about hunters being poisoned with lead after eating wild game they shot with lead bullets. New research shows that the lead from the lead bullets does, indeed, get into the meat that's consumed by hunters. The level of lead in their blood (and their brains) begins to rise. High levels of lead, of course, impair cognitive function, leading to stupidity and mental insanity. This is a medical fact, not a statement of opinion about hunters. It does, however, explain why hunters may be medically insane. Quick question: Are these the kind of people who should be walking around with loaded firearms?
From Upi.com: U.S. scientists say people who eat wild game killed by lead bullets might have higher blood levels of lead than people who don't eat such meat. Scientists from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the North Dakota Department of Health earlier this year tested blood collected from 738 North Dakotans.... more
