For several decades, Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski has been persecuted for advancing cancer treatments. The pitfalls of conventional cancer treatment
Cancer treatment should be a humanitarian pursuit, with no profit incentive. Sadly, in the United States, cancer treatment is strictly a business -- an expensive gambit of poisoning and burning patients for profit.
Cancer patients are immediately cast under a spell of fear as soon as a first cancer diagnosis is made. Second and third opinions are important, but the cancer industry uses a hasty and ruthless process that leaves the patient no time to think critically and no time to seek a more holistic approach.
Cancer patients are oftentimes made sicker with the conventional treatment protocols, and some people are pushed to the brink of death by the treatments and secondary illnesses caused by immunosuppression. These treatment protocols, while sometimes necessary in an acute life-or-death situation, never truly get to the root of the issue. As the patient’s immune system is suppressed, their body is setup to suffer through reoccurring cancers and other immunodeficiency issues.
Dr. Burzynski uses an individualized approach to advance cancer treatment
Dr. Burzynski understands these issues and sees this industry for what it is. He has meticulously researched more advanced protocols to sustain his patients and improve their quality of life. This is a direct threat to the Big Pharma drug cartels, which use government regulatory agencies to target these successful cancer treatment protocols. Dr. Burzynski has faced criticism for taking an approach that is different from chemotherapy and radiation. The government has persecuted him several times, claiming he violated federal laws related to prescribing drugs, among other complaints.
The Burzynski Clinic was established in 1977 and continues to provide advanced and cutting-edge cancer treatments. Burzynski believes that each patient deserves a personalized treatment that maximizes effectiveness and minimizes side effects. To accomplish this, the doctors must first understand the patient’s unique genetic make-up. They do this by using genomic tests and analyses. Next, the doctors use a combination of targeted therapies, nutritional counseling and immunotherapies, as well as conventional therapies if the need arises. The doctors aren't afraid to use investigational agents. Dr. Burzynski uses the body’s own peptides – antineoplastons – to help kill cancer cells and keep them from growing. According to his research, people with cancer lack, or are deficient in, these peptides.
In 1986, Burzynski presented the Texas Medical Board with evidence that 40 patients had been cured of their cancers. Instead of working with Burzynski in curing cancer and innovating treatment protocols, the Texas Medical Board decided to revoke his medical license two years later. Sixty patients petitioned the board to drop their phony charges and a trial ensued. The judge found Burzynski NOT GUILTY of any crime.
That’s when the U.S. FDA stepped in and took Burzynski to federal court, persecuting him. In federal court, there were testimonies of cured cancer (without chemotherapy and radiation). Members of Congress then petitioned to exonerate Burzynski and put his research through phase two clinical trials.
Today, the FDA is in the process of approving three new drugs based on Burzynski’s research. After decades of fighting Big Pharma drug cartels, Dr. Burzynski and his colleagues are beginning to reform cancer treatments in the U.S., but the fight against a broken and corrupt system will continue.
