Hunter Biden reverses Joe’s narrative, admits receiving $664,000 from CCP’s CEFC in 2017

United States presidential son Hunter Biden appeared in court on July 26 and admitted receiving $664,000 from a Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-backed company in 2017, contradicting President Joe Biden's claim that his son never received money from any Chinese entity.

The younger Biden's attorney, Chris Clark, revealed before U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika that Hunter made over one million dollars in foreign business transactions, including more than $600,000 from CEFC China Energy, a company with direct links to the CCP and Chinese intelligence.

"During the calendar year 2017, Biden earned substantial income, including: just under $1 million from a company he formed with the CEO of a Chinese business conglomerate [BHR Partners]; $666,666 from his domestic business interests; approximately $664,000 from a Chinese infrastructure investment company [CEFC]…" Clark reportedly told the judge, as per the court transcript acquired by not-for-profit Marco Polo.

According to a report on WION, Hunter told the judge that he started a company back then, which he called Hudson West. His partner was associated with CEFC, he claimed. "Who was your partner?" the court asked. "I don't know how to spell his name, Yi Jianming is the chairman of that company," Hunter responded and proceeded to admit to taking the money sent to him by the Chinese infrastructure investment company.

Hunter Biden wrote emails to Zhao Runlong at CEFC, extending "warmest best wishes" to Chairman Yi further hoping to see the chairman soon. These were obtained back in 2020 as per Fox News. "I hope my letter finds you well. I regret missing you on your last visit to the United States," Hunter wrote back on June 17, 2017. "Please accept the best wishes from the entire Biden family as well as my partners. We are all hoping to see you here again soon, or in Shanghai."

The lawyer also reportedly confirmed to the judge during the Wednesday hearing that the additional income from Hunter's business ventures, which included half a million dollars in director's fees from his dealings with Burisma Holdings, the oil and natural gas company owned by Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, came from another bribe. Zlochevsky told a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) informant that he was coerced to bribe Hunter and Joe with $5 million each. Clark also said the younger Biden made "$70,000 relating to a Romanian business and $48,000 from the multi-national law firm."

Apart from the money Hunter and his attorney admitted receiving, there are other "earnings" that need to be investigated. Months ago, the House Oversight Committee led by James Comer (R-KY) revealed the Biden family business, over the course of several years, received over $10 million from business schemes in Romania and China in return for what appears to be influence peddling. Apart from the bribing, Burisma also paid the Biden family "crime syndicate" a total of $7.3 million over the course of many years, including when Joe was still vice president, IRS agent Joseph Ziegler told Congress last week.

Also, suspicious activity reports obtained by the committee revealed that a Biden associate, Rob Walker, received a $3 million wire transfer from CEFC China Energy Co. In turn, four Biden family members (Hunter, James, Hallie, and an unidentified "Biden") received a collective $1.3 million cut from the $3 million wire transfer. The committee is investigating the entities that accepted and passed money through to the Biden 'business'. The Biden business opened more than 20 shell companies to hide payments and launder money, Comer said in July.

Meanwhile, Hunter denied two misdemeanor charges of deliberate negligence to pay taxes after an intended plea deal was rejected.

Joe Biden previously denied Hunter received any money from international deals

The latest admission is in direct contradiction to President Biden's previous assertion that "his son never received money from a Chinese entity."

"My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about, China," Biden told then-U.S. President Donald Trump during the October 2020 debate. "The only guy who made money from China is this guy," he said referring to Trump. "He's the only one. Nobody else has made money from China."

In March, a reporter asked for the president's reaction to the issue that Hunter's business associate sent over a million dollars to three of the Biden family members. He, of course, dismissed the allegation.
