"There has been housecleaning within the DOJ, and the FBI has been protecting the Biden family. And it's not okay," she said in an episode of "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo. Luna, a Republican, is a member of both the House Freedom Caucus and the House Oversight Committee that have been looking into the extent of "business deals" of President Joe Biden, his son Hunter, his brother Jim and the rest of the family.
She further revealed that this protection scheme has been going on since the time when Joe Biden was still vice president, and that a "mole" from the FBI has been supporting Hunter, whose "laptop from hell" revealed all of Bidens' transactions.
"It sounds like it's something out of a James Bond movie, but unfortunately, it's true," she added.
Bartiromo agreed and brought up the issue that the current administration has been intimidating whistleblowers to discourage them from revealing the Bidens' true colors. (Related: Biden crime family profited from influence peddling, received $10 million from China and other countries.)
According to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, who earlier guested in Bartiromo's show, nine of the 10 people with very good knowledge of the Bidens' case are now currently in court, in jail or missing. "Honestly, they fear for their lives. Not only are the Biden loggers and the Biden White House intimidating them, the media is trying to intimidate and discredit them," Comer said.
Luna believes Biden is on top of all these operations.
"With the amount of evidence that's coming forward, it's scary to think that this guy that's currently sitting in the White House has become this corrupt and it's really only doing one thing – and that's aiding and abetting the Communist Chinese Party," Luna said.
She stressed that the investigations should remain nonpartisan, but it's imperative that the DOJ and FBI be held accountable. "If we don't do our job, we are ultimately going to be responsible for when there's no longer justice in this country," Luna told Bartiromo.
Comer to hold FBI director in contempt of Congress for not complying with document turnover request
Meanwhile, Comer said he will begin the process of holding FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress for not complying with the turnover request on the subpoenaed document supposedly containing evidence that Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme.
The document in question is an FBI-generated FD-1023 form that reportedly described a $5 million criminal scheme involving Biden when he was still the vice president under the Barack Obama administration. The FBI brought the document for Comer and Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin, a ranking member of the Oversight Committee, to review in a sensitive compartmented information facility.
"At the briefing, the FBI again refused to hand over the unclassified record to the custody of the House Oversight Committee," Comer said in a statement. "And we will now initiate contempt of Congress hearings this Thursday."
This prompted a back-and-forth between committee Republicans and the bureau over whether it was in compliance of his subpoena.
The FBI initially offered to allow Comer to review the document at FBI headquarters, but the bureau offered additional accommodations to bring the physical document to Capitol Hill following Comer's threats to hold Wray in contempt of Congress.
