He cited an article from The Hill, which reported that about one in four students now are identifying as LGBT. The piece mentioned an April 27 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report that used 2021 data to arrive at the finding.
According to the report, the number of LGBT students jumped to 26 percent in 2021 – more than twice the 11 percent recorded in 2015. It noted that 12.2 percent of secondary school students identified as bisexual, 5.2 percent as questioning, 3.9 percent as other, 3.2 percent as gay or lesbian and 1.8 percent said they didn't understand the question.
"Let's pretend that the CDC is not a liar about everything," Renz said. "That number was 11 percent in 2005. So, we've gone up from 11 to almost 26 percent in six years. What's changed is a massive marketing campaign to convince and confuse kids as to their gender or sexuality."
The attorney from the Buckeye State pointed out that while freedom is valued in America, the idea of promoting the LGBT ideology is different from the idea of tolerating people. "Tolerated tolerance isn't an acceptable thing," Renz said. "The liberals are promoting it, saying 'Oh, you have to embrace it and you should try it out. It's really awesome and it's even better. We'll all love you if you identify this way.'"
Renz cited a rural school system near him that organized a three-day teaching session for eighth-graders that centered on pornography.
"What the hell is there to talk about for three days? That's a 15-minute talk at most. How can you do three days on this without promoting it? I'm sure one of the porn sites is donating money to fund that."
The Ohio attorney also lamented the reaction of LGBT supporters toward the Parental Rights in Education Act, which Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis put forward in his state. The law falsely dubbed as the "Don't Say Gay Bill" effectively banned the teaching of perversion to students in kindergarten until the third grade. The LGBT movement acted like there was something wrong with banning such ideologies being instilled in young children, he added.
Renz also mentioned that the White House is openly supporting the LGBT movement through its actions and policies. In one instance, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre – herself openly queer – welcome the cast of the American TV show "The L Word: Generation Q" in the White House.
She emphasized that it is "incredibly important" for young people to see characters in the media whose life stories and identities inspire them "to reach their highest potential." Jean-Pierre lauded transgender children as "resilient" and "fierce," adding that the Biden administration "has their backs."
Aside from Jean-Pierre, Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine – an openly transgender woman – also remarked that President Joe Biden fully supports drugging and surgically mutilating children in the name of gender transitions. U.S. Domestic Policy Council Director Susan Rice and Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy also hosted a roundtable in the White House to "affirm" gender dysphoric children and signify Biden's unwavering support of life-altering chemical and surgical gender reassignment procedures. "This is mind-blowing, folks. It's the destruction of our society. It's absolutely detrimental in all ways, shapes and forms. There's no benefit to it," Renz lamented.
