Here it comes: Dems making moves to take over Supreme Court and make it another legislative branch that will rubber stamp their Marxist agenda
04/21/2021 // JD Heyes // Views

After Joe Biden became the Democratic nominee for president last year, he was asked often whether he favored "packing" the U.S. Supreme Court with left-wing judges, making the nation's highest court nothing more than a fourth branch of government that served to rubber-stamp a far-left Marxist agenda.

Though Biden once called such court-packing a "boneheaded" idea, he refused to say whether he would agree to packing the court if he won.

In fact, he even told one reporter in mid-October that Americans didn't "have a right" to know how he felt about the issue under the guise of 'allowing' his GOP opponent to know his position (which was a tell in and of itself because if Biden had said simply "no," he's not in favor of it, that wouldn't have given President Donald Trump any political ammo in the first place).

That alone should have set off alarm bells even among Democrats -- and frankly, it probably did, though we'll never know to what extent after those losers literally stole Trump's second term from him.

Nevertheless, now that Biden's in office, the regime that is using him as a figurehead is moving quickly to do just that: Pack the Supreme Court, which, if it happens, will lead to one of two things, or both: Secession or civil war, since states not politically aligned with the Tyranny Party will have no other choice when one constitutional right after another is suddenly found 'unconstitutional' under the new legislative branch.

Last week, Biden appointed a 36-member 'presidential commission' to examine the court's history, past changes and alterations to its make-up and the nomination of judges, and what any potential consequences would be to adding (or, theoretically, subtracting) justices.

That commission is going to be 'packed' itself: It will be led by Bob Bauer, who was Barack Obama's White House counsel, as well as Cristina Rodriguez, a professor at Yale Law School who was a deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Counsel during Obama's reign.

For some history, the court has varied in size throughout the history of the country, numbering as few as five and as many as 10. But it has remained at nine justices since 1869, and when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt floated the notion of packing it himself so his "New Deal" programs would not be struck down as unconstitutional, the idea went over like a lead balloon.

And today, there will be fierce opposition to expanding the court, since Congress is literally nearly evenly divided; Democrats hold a historically slim majority in the House (six seats) and the Senate is 50-50, with Vice President Kamala Harris being the tie vote. Plus, the filibuster rule is still in effect in the Senate, though most Democrats (who used to love it when the Republicans were in control) now want it eliminated.

After Biden appointed his commission, a group of Democrats rushed to the steps of the Supreme Court building to announce legislation to increase the court's number to 13, which would give Biden's handlers an opportunity to stick four Marxists on the court to join with the two who are already there (Justices Kagan and Sotomayor).

NBC News has more:

The Democratic bill is led by Sen. Ed Markey of Massachusetts and Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee. It is co-sponsored by Reps. Hank Johnson of Georgia and Mondaire Jones of New York.

Now, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is downplaying this legislation, but she's also not dismissing it out of hand.

"I don't know that that's a good idea or bad idea. I think it's an idea that should be considered," she told reporters last week.

Translation: This effort to expand the court is coming because Democrats know they have a limited window in which they can permanently steal power in perpetuity.

But if they do this, it will mean secession at a minimum, and civil war at worst.
