Facebook bans “Stop the Steal” page with 350,000 followers trying to expose election fraud

A Facebook group with more than 350,000 members that existed to protect America's elections against fraud was removed and banned by Facebook the other day for allegedly spreading "misinformation."

Created by Women for America First, "Stop the Steal" was established in response to the many reports of voter fraud coming out of Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, and a number of other far-left urban centers in highly contested swing states.

Founder Amy Kremer tweeted that Facebook removed the group less than 24 hours after it was created for supposedly affecting "real-world events" in an unapproved way.

"The group was organized around the delegitimization of the election process, and we say worrying calls for violence from some members of the group," Facebook claimed in an announcement.

Kremer warned her Twitter followers that the left, via Facebook and other mediums, is trying to steal the election for Joe Biden by censoring those who are trying to draw attention to widespread voter fraud.

As it turns out, far-left media outlets like Rolling Stone petitioned Facebook to remove "Stop the Steal" because they claimed the group was spreading "election-related disinformation and violent rhetoric."

Rather than stand in defense of free speech, Rolling Stone demanded that Facebook pull "Stop the Steal" in order to protect Biden and the Democrats from scrutiny, further chastising the platform for not doing it even sooner.

"Its history of being reactive rather than proactive may very well result in the platform having blood on its hands," Rolling Stone political writer E.J. Dickson whined on Twitter in condemnation of Facebook.

Another far-left group known as, get this, the "Center for Countering Digital Hate" – hilarious, right? – joined Rolling Stone in calling for the elimination of "Stop the Steal."

"Stop the Steal is a blatant attempt to organise interference in vote counts across the U.S.," the London-based censorship group tweeted.

"It is operated by individuals closely linked to Trump himself. If @Facebook is serious about combatting attempts to undermine the election, it must be shut down."

Trump calls on Supreme Court to deal with election fraud

President Trump himself is also being censored online, and especially by Twitter, as he continues to warn that key swing states are padding their counts to push Biden over the top.

"I easily WIN the Presidency of the United States with LEGAL VOTES CAST," Trump tweeted.

"The OBSERVERS were not allowed, in any way, shape, or form, to do their job and therefore, votes accepted during this period must be determined to be ILLEGAL VOTES. U.S. Supreme Court should decide!"

Twitter responded to Trump's tweet by putting up a "fact check" claiming that some or all of its contents are "disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process."

Trump quickly responded back that Twitter "is out of control," adding that its ability to censor freely is "made possible through the government gift of Section 230."

This key provision of the Communications Decency Act (CDA) allows Big Tech corporations like Facebook and Twitter to actively censor content with full immunity, even as they maintain the special government designation of content "providers."

Trump is further calling on the Supreme Court to take a closer look at what has happened in places like Pennsylvania, where late ballots received after Election Day are being illegally counted.

"The Governor, Wolf, and the State Supreme Court flagrantly violated the Constitution of the U.S.," Trump declared, adding that "hopefully this will be corrected at the Supreme Court of the United States."
