Intelligence agencies that withhold RussiaGate info should be “shut down,” declares Nunes

Rep. Devin Nunes warned that any intelligence agency withholding crucial information concerning RussiaGate and Hillary Clinton, former presidential candidate, should be "shut down."

A campaign to “stir up a scandal”

The facts are undeniable: Clinton had a hand in the RussiaGate hoax.

Last week, a letter released from Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe proved that U.S. intelligence agencies received “insight” into a Russian intelligence analysis suggesting that Clinton, who was running against President Trump at the time, authorized a campaign to “stir up a scandal” against Trump by tying the latter to Russian officials.

According to the letter, in the summer of 2016, President Barack Obama was briefed about an unverified Russian intelligence analysis which claimed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton -- then the Democratic presidential nominee -- was implicated in an effort to involve candidate Donald Trump in Russia’s hack of the Democratic National Committee. (Related: New declassified documents show that Obama knew about Clinton-engineered conspiracy to link Trump to Russia.)

The one-page letter came from Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe and was sent to and released by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham. Ratcliffe added that the intelligence community “does not know the accuracy of this allegation or the extent to which the Russian intelligence analysis may reflect exaggeration or fabrication.”

The information was released within hours of the first debate between Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. Democrats in Congress were up in arms about the authenticity of the damning information.

“It s very disturbing to me that 35 days before an election, a director of national intelligence would release unverified Russian rumint,” commented Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner, a Virginia Democrat.

On Sept. 30, Rachel Cohen, the communications director for Warner, tweeted that the bombshell was "Russian disinformation."

Cohen did not immediately reply when the Washington Examiner asked her to clarify what she was basing her claim on and if any intelligence assessment could prove that the letter was Russian disinformation. Less than two hours after Graham unveiled the letter, Ratcliffe released a statement to the Washington Examiner to address the backlash.

Ratcliffe explained that the document wasn’t “Russian disinformation” and that it hasn’t been assessed as such by the intelligence community. He added that he’ll be briefing Congress “on the sensitive sources and methods by which it was obtained in the coming days.”

Fight for liberty, urged Nunes

According to Nunes, the agencies refused to share the “insight” discussed in Ratcliffe’s letter with Congress. If the involved intelligence agencies don’t share the information they have on the matter, it may be time to shut them down.

Amid the commotion, the liberties of American citizens are “more important than anything else.” Nunes insisted that these same liberties have been “stampeded over” by dirty cops.

The CIA, FBI and the National Security Agency claim that revealing details of the Russia report would “undermine the credibility of the intelligence community’s investigation.” Nunes praised Ratcliffe for releasing the letter despite this.

Letting agencies slow down the process only emboldens Democrats, warned Nunes. The Democratic national party has already corrupted America’s intelligence services while their propaganda arm controls mainstream media.

“It is orchestrated among the national left-wing media, the Democratic party that has become an outrage in this country. And the intelligence community working hand in glove with the Democratic presidential nominee of 2016, Hillary Clinton, and her campaign and the Democratic National Committee. There is no guesswork here. It is obvious,” concluded Nunes.
