Dr. Fauci praises New York’s coronavirus response, despite the state having the highest mortality rate where thousands were needlessly killed in nursing homes and on ventilators

Even though NYC Governor Cuomo sentenced thousands of nursing home patients to death by putting coronavirus patients in nursing homes and denying them proper care in the hospitals, Dr. Anthony Fauci recently praised New York’s coronavirus response. Fauci, the famous White House advisor, recently spoke to PBS NewsHour to praise New York for “correctly” handling the coronavirus pandemic, even though New York City had the highest mortality rate of any city or state.

“We know that, when you do it properly, you bring down those cases. We have done it. We have done it in New York,” Fauci said.

The problem is: No health care system knows the full scope of cases that truly existed before and during the lock downs, especially when the Centers for Disease Control cannot design a consistent test that differentiates covid-19 from other RNA viruses or from non-infectious virus debris. The diagnostic tests have routinely proved to be faulty, providing false negatives with non-sensitive, poorly timed testing protocol and false positives from non-infected persons. Health care systems do not care to understand the reasons why people get well without going to the hospital and crowding it, as was the big concern in the beginning. New York, nor any other state has done anything to educate and implement ways to strengthen the immune response of individuals. The coronavirus public health strategy is one-sided and forces people to live in fear and subject themselves to control.

Fauci praises the state with the highest mortality rate

Why would Fauci praise New York’s response? New York was one of two states with an excessive mortality rate during the height of the initial emergency lock down from Feb 1 to May 16th. The average expected deaths throughout the US was 105 percent compared to the previous three years. This overall increase in the mortality rate was caused mostly by New York, which had a 131 percent rate, and by New Jersey which had a 137 percent rate. New York City was the deadliest of all, accounting for a morbid 230 percent expected death rate compared to previous years. In comparison, South Dakota had a lower than average rate (92%), and Georgia’s rate remained about normal (100%). Other heavily populated states like Florida did an exceptional job at keeping expected deaths down (105%), especially considering widespread tourism in the state and aging populations living there.

New York was ill-prepared to handle outbreaks of infectious disease. Governor Cuomo made the hasty and deadly decision to mix very ill covid-19 positive nursing home patients with their peers, contributing to rapid spread and increasing virus exposure to the most vulnerable. Approximately 6,400 New York elders died in nursing homes because of this, even as the President brought in the Navy Comfort to handle the excess cases. The Navy Comfort was barely used during the lock down, and treated a mere 179 patients, as immune-compromised nursing home patients were left to die in their chambers. New York State Attorney General is now investigating why coronavirus patients were encouraged back into nursing homes, exacerbating the spread. Back in March, the state Department of Health directed nursing homes to do this. The policy led to demonstrations and eventually a policy shift, as families rapidly lost loved ones.

The mortality rate was compounded by the fact that Fauci and Cuomo downplayed the effectiveness of known antiviral medications, depriving patients of life saving treatments like HCQ that could have brought down overall suffering and death. Instead, New York became a death-by-ventilator hotspot, where patient immune systems were disregarded in favor of high financial incentive protocols that required people to be put on ventilators. These ventilators were associated with nosocomial infections (infections acquired from the hospital), which resulted in ventilator associated pneumonia and fatalities of 80 percent or greater.

What kind of psychopath thinks that New York’s coronavirus response was handled “correctly?” Is Dr. Fauci really this incompetent? Can he even be trusted to interpret data objectively?
