Facebook, Google declare all pro-liberty speech to be “political spam” or “Russian bots” as pretext to censor conservatives
10/14/2018 // JD Heyes // Views

If Right-leaning media and commentators thought that the big tech firms like Facebook, Google, Twitter, and YouTube were censoring them before, they haven’t seen anything yet.

Like the rest of the insane Left, the libs who run the social media behemoths are becoming increasingly frustrated with conservatives and supporters of POTUS Donald Trump over all of his “winning” – the booming economy, the record-setting stock market, historic tax cuts, jobs galore, trade victories, and progress on a number of foreign policy fronts. So rather than woo Americans with superior arguments and better ideas, they’d rather behave like Hitler, Stalin, and modern-day China and quash their political opponents by taking away their voice.

But the effort to censor the Right is more sinister than just shutting out voices. The big tech platforms want direct access to the minds of billions of people, programming them with deep state, authoritarian government propaganda as a means of stealing power rather than earning it.

As Daisy Luther at The Organic Prepper noted Friday:

Yesterday, the alternative media purge was boldly advanced in a coordinated effort to silence people who dissent from establishment views. It’s just one more step toward a monopoly on information by those who hate freedom. At this rate, they’ll soon have unquestioned access to the minds of more than 2 billion people. And this should terrify everyone who wants to be free to question the status quo and to seek a wide range of information.

Hundreds of alternative media site administrators logged onto Facebook to discover that their accounts had been removed. Soon after, many of these sites and their writers found that their Twitter accounts had also been suspended.

Included were very popular and well-trafficked pages belonging to The AntiMedia (2.1 million fans); The Free Thought Project (3.1 million); Press for Truth (350,000); Police the Police (1.9 million); Cop Block (1.7 million); and Punk Rock Libertarians (125,000) – these are just a handful of the many indy media pages that were unpublished.

But why Luther asks? What was the point? (Related: CNN goes insane, claims independent media is a “terrorist” network that should be criminalized and exterminated.)

According to Facebook officials, the page administrators were suddenly in violation of company spam policies. “Today, we’re removing 559 pages and 251 accounts that have consistently broken our rules against spam and coordinated inauthentic behavior,” said Facebook public relations staff in a blog post. “People will only share on Facebook if they feel safe and trust the connections they make here.”

In actuality, according to the L.A. Times, Facebook took down more than 800 publishers. The paper noted:

Facebook said it was removing the publishers and accounts not because of the type of content they posted, but because of the behaviors they engaged in, including spamming Facebook groups with identical pieces of content and using fake profiles.

It’s all in the timing

The Washington Post initially reported that the pages were removed because they were “pushing political messages for profit, as this URL indicates: https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2018/10/11/facebook-purged-over-accounts-pages-pushing-political-messages-profit/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.fa1a364488b3

But, as Luther notes, WaPo does the same thing when its social media managers post the paper’s political content on Facebook and elsewhere too. So the disingenuous editors at WaPo changed the headline to read, “Facebook purged over 800 U.S. accounts and pages for pushing political spam.”

Here’s the kicker: One might be tempted to believe Facebook’s purge as legitimate, but as Luther notes, many of the same publications had their Twitter accounts suspended shortly thereafter, which of course suggests this was the same kind of coordinated effort we saw when the social media behemoths all deplatformed Alex Jones and Infowars on the same day.

And all of this is happening less than a month before the 2018 midterm elections.

“Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey just carried out quite possibly the biggest attack on the free press in the history of America and the corporate media is cheering it on,” noted Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams.
