Congressional investigations closing in on the MASSIVE Obama-Clinton corruption behind Trump dossier, Uranium One deal
10/24/2017 // JD Heyes // Views

It may be too much to hope for, but it appears that we may actually be getting closer to the day when some of the most corrupt politicians in recent memory — Bill and Hillary Clinton, along with President Obama and several of his Cabinet officials — will finally be held legally responsible for things they’ve done to our country.

By now it has become obvious, just based on open-source reporting, that the Obama regime spied on Team Trump under the guise of a phony national security probe. That’s where the “Russian collusion” story comes from; it was a hoax ginned up to legitimize politicizing the U.S. federal law enforcement and intelligence communities so that the Obama administration could keep tabs on Donald J. Trump and his staffers for anything that might help Hillary.

One of the ways they created this fake Russian narrative was by using a known Left-wing Democratic opposition firm called Fusion GPS, the group behind the infamous and discredited “Trump dossier.” That dossier, many in Congress believe, was used as justification for the secret surveillance warrants the Obama administration obtained in order to spy on Team Trump.

Now, lawmakers want to know more about Fusion GPS and in particular who paid for the dossier. The House Intelligence Committee earlier this month issued a subpoena to TD Bank seeking the firm’s banking records, which Fusion GPS says would ‘ruin’ its business were that information to get out, The Daily Caller is reporting.

“In short, compliance with this subpoena will not only harm Plantiff’s business, it has a high likelihood of ruining it,” said one of the arguments presented by the firm’s attorneys in court papers filed in Washington, D.C.

There is only one reason why Fusion GPS is scrambling to block the subpoena: Company execs don’t want the House panel to find out who hired them to investigate the Trump campaign and the president himself. That has been a closely-held secret (in a city full of leaks) since the dossier, which was written by former British spy Christopher Steele, was published in January by the website Buzzfeed (which is now been sued by Russian firms mentioned in the document).

This dossier is just the tip of the scandal iceberg involving the Clintons, Obama, his former FBI chief, now-fired James Comey, and other officials. Another major scandal pertains to the sale of the company Uranium One to the Russians, which the FBI found early on involved racketeering, bribery, real Russian collusion, and other high crimes involving the Obama White House and the Clintons. Here are the highlights surrounding that scandal, as laid out perfectly by former federal prosecutor and national security expert Andrew McCarthy at National Review:

— The $500,000 payment given to Bill Clinton for a “speech” was funneled to him via the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin via a Kremlin-aligned bank. There was no “independence” to it; it was a bribe, pure and simple, and it was made to win favor with the ex-president and, it was believed at the time, his soon-to-be-president wife.

— The deal seriously compromised U.S. national security because it handed control over one-fifth of the United States’ strategic supply of uranium, which is a primary element in the manufacture of nuclear weapons and nuclear power.

— The Obama regime was well aware that Republicans in Congress were attempting to stop the deal from going through — because, again, it was a blow to national security.

— The Justice Department under then-Attorney General Eric Holder and the FBI under then-Director Robert Mueller, who is now a special counsel leading a collusion investigation into Trump, knew about improper payments and transfers of money to the Clintons and Clinton-aligned charities, principally the Clinton Foundation, to the tune of about $145 million from parties interested in seeing the deal go through.

— One witness who was undercover for the FBI was threatened with prison if he broke a non-disclosure agreement and went to Congress to tell lawmakers what he knew.

Taken together, this is just more evidence that Barack Obama presided over one of the most corrupt administrations in the history of the country.
