One third of patients enter the hospital malnourished, and it all goes downhill from there


(NaturalNews) According to registered dietitians at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital of Loyola University Health System, poor patient "outcomes" and longer hospital stays are that end results of patients entering the hospital malnourished, and it's being classified as a disorder!

So then, what happens when you are stuck in the hospital bed, waiting for surgery and tests to be run, or waiting to recover from surgery or sickness, and you're surrounded by superbugs and GMO food from the cafeteria? Certainly the intravenous tubes aren't carrying vitamin D and chlorella into your veins; it's just sugar water. Do you wonder if that's genetically modified too? After all, malnutrition is often caused by a combination of issues resulting in a lack of nutrients -- hint, hint.

Pesticides, including insecticides and herbicides, kill the nutrition in food, and so can microwave ovens, deep fat frying in hydrogenated oils, and growing food using fluoridated water. It's pretty obvious that you do NOT get organic food, filtered water and herbal tinctures at the hospital, so if you go in vitamin- and mineral-deficient, matters will worsen, including the ability to heal at a normal pace, if at all. How many elderly and newborns die as a result of this? Let's take a closer look at hospitals fostering malnutrition.

Although healthcare workers are on the "front lines" of identifying malnutrition, can they? Most medical schools in America teach NOTHING of nutrition and haven't for 100 years. That's because the American Medical Association took nutrition out of medical college "canons" and JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association. Being a raw foodist is considered being a health nut or quack, and no nurses, doctors, surgeons or oncologists are dishing out valuable advice on food as medicine, or they'll get shut down faster than you can say "Non-GMO Project Verified."

Want to reduce pressure ulcers, patient falls, overall complications, readmissions and the length of hospital stays? Switch to a plant-based diet of organic foods. Signs that you need to do this include fatigue, dizziness and weight gain. If you've lost muscle mass and need more healthy fats, look into avocados and raw nuts and seeds. If you're stuck in a hospital bed, insist that your family members stop by an organic grocer before visiting you and bring you some nutrition! Make the nurses store it in their refrigerator, next to all that unlabeled GMO corn they've been pushing on you in the name of the hospital and Obamacare.

Be extra careful how much genetically modified and processed food you consume at the hospital. Organic food interventions are necessary here. Healthcare workers may have good intentions, but you know what good intentions pave.

The Loyola University Health System (LUHS) is based in the suburbs of Chicago and has a 60-acre medical center campus. That's almost enough room to grow their own organic food! They could start vertical green hydroponic indoor gardens and grow kale, spinach and culinary herbs! Maybe some future government that actually cares about the people and understands nutrition will subsidize this concept.

Hospital food, like airplane food, is horrendous and nearly void of all nutrition!

Some hospitals have sponsors, like Ronald McDonald. This way, when advertised and promoted well, children and adults believe that McDonald's cares about people and health, even though fast food could be the most toxic food "stuff" on the planet, and that goes for human health, animal health, soil health and the environment. Cancer drives are sponsored by Kentucky Fried Chicken, and the absurdities go on and on. Hospital cafeteria food is mostly GMO, packed with gluten, artificial sweeteners and monosodium glutamate. We now know from research that about 33% of hospital patients suffer from malnutrition, and that's just when they walk in the door, or get rolled in on a gurney.

How many of those patients will get worse thanks to hospital food? How many patients never recover from routine surgery? How many people really die BECAUSE of flu shots, or hospital bacteria that cause infections, and what about antibiotics that kill immunity by destroying the gut's good bacteria? Let's study the research, realize the problems with the system, and correct it all ourselves. Eat organic, whether at home or at the hospital, and maybe you can avoid being another statistic in a research study down the road. Don't eat cancer, and it won't eat you.
