(NaturalNews) Over the past six years, the race relations in America have not improved much. In fact, most people will probably say they believe race relations have even gotten worse since the nation elected its first president of some African-American descent (President Barack Obama's mother was white, as you know).

That's quite an indictment of a man who many believed would finally be able to narrow the racial divide in America, if not obliterate it altogether.

But Obama himself has done little to ensure that a healing took place; in fact, he even set the tone early in his presidency. In July 2009, after taking office in January, Obama accused a white, Cambridge, Massachusetts, police officer of acting "stupidly" for arresting Louis Henry Gates in 2009 — a Harvard professor who is a friend of the president — at his home.

"I don't know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played," Obama said at a White House press conference, immediately asserting race — and racism — into the incident.

"...I think it's fair to say, No. 1, any of us would be pretty angry; No. 2, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home; and, No. 3 ... that there's a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately [emphasis added]," he further said.

Then he proceeded to help create that "long history."

History of stirring up racial tensions

For his part, the arresting officer, Sgt. James Crowley, "wrote in the Cambridge police report that Gates refused to step outside to speak with him, the police report said, and when Crowley told Gates that he was investigating a possible break-in, Gates opened the front door and exclaimed, 'Why, because I'm a black man in America?' the report said," according to CNN.

There have been many occasions since then that Obama has prematurely claimed "racism" against African-Americans, only to be proven incorrect. But that hasn't stopped him from making such claims, nor has it stopped him from exploiting true race-related incidents aimed at African-Americans, like the recent church shootings at a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina.

That brings up a point that needs further exploitation — the fact that Obama and many African-American leaders see racism only as a one-way street, regardless of evidence suggesting otherwise.

A case in point is the so-called Black Lives Matter movement, which sprang out of an incident in Ferguson, Missouri, where a white police officer shot and killed a black 18-year-old male. Turns out that the black male, Michael Brown, had just committed a strong-arm robbery at a local convenience store and, as the grand jury investigation later found, attacked the officer and tried to take his gun.

But those facts don't matter to Obama and other racial agitators —"Black lives matter," you see, so when a black life is lost, that's a tragedy.

And it often is — but so is the loss of a "white life" or a Latin American life or an Asian life, and so on. So to even utter the phrase "black lives matter" is in itself racist.

Obama, the agitator-in-chief

What's more, the Black Lives Matter movement ignores a glaring fact — that most black lives are taken by other blacks, as the continuing carnage in Chicago amply demonstrates.

For his part, Obama has never denounced the fallacy surrounding Black Lives Matter, or a similar movement to denigrate whites — the "white privilege" movement, which is, of course, equally racist in its tone because it stereotypes all whites (something black people have long railed against when it comes to people of color) as over-privileged and undeserving of what they have, leaving them ripe for humiliation and white discrimination.

Long ago, the United States took measures to ensure that racism in all its forms was dealt with legally and constitutionally. Yet, in 2015, many act as though those changes have never been made, let alone considered. Obama, as the agitator-in-chief, is right at the top of that list.

Seven years into the tenure of our U.S. president with African-American heritage, race relations have gotten worse, not better. And that's because this president once looked upon as the one person who could finally heal our racial divisions has instead done all he could to ensure that the divisions only got wider.

That's not just a dangerous tragedy in a multi-ethnic country — it is a national disgrace for which the president and his fellow agitators should bear much responsibility.
