(NaturalNews) It's a mistake that many people make on a daily basis: mindlessly consuming products without reading the labels. Some people don't know what they're eating, don't care what they're eating, and can't make the connection between the food they eat and the health problems they experience. As a matter of fact, most people who mindlessly wander the grocery store aisles can't even walk, communicate, or see straight, and the content of their shopping carts is evidence enough of their disabilities.

Some people are so oblivious to what they're eating that they will go as far as mindlessly cooking with shower gel while eating dinners night after night that are drenched in hot, soapy gel. This kind of stupidity comes from a population that walks around the store with its head down and eyes hypnotized by a phone screen, with no awareness of the people around them or the junk food chemicals they are filling their shopping carts with. This kind of stupidity comes from a generation that can't even figure out what these food chemicals are doing to their own bodily systems using their intuition and logic.

Some people don't even have enough sense to understand the fact their body needs water on a daily basis. They'll run to the doctor only to be told they are dehydrated and need to drink more water.

Cooking with shower gel: one woman's stupidity goes viral

One woman's cooking mistake went viral as she confessed to cooking her food for weeks in shower gel that she thought was olive oil. "I'm not chef of the week," she trumpeted around the web, gloating in her miserable stupidity. Thousands took to social media to remind her how stupid she was.

Her mistake should serve as a reminder to everyone that reading labels is important. Food companies can't be trusted. It is important to learn about these food ingredients and figure out what they do to the body. Some food ingredients can cause inflammation, restlessness, or brain fog. Some ingredients starve cells of nutrition and ripen the conditions for cancer to surface.

The American woman who drenched her dinners in shower gel went on for weeks complaining of an awful taste persisting in her food. She threw her cooking pans in the trash and was even on the brink of replacing her dishwasher. That's when her friend pointed out the problem: she had been cooking with olive oil shower gel. The bottle of Yves Rocher gel, covered in pictures of olives, appeared to be olive oil, but the words on the label told a different story. The French words "bain douche" were clearly printed on the label, along with their American translation underneath: "shower gel."

The woman, who probably doesn't take the time to read labels, took a picture of the half-empty bottle and shared her mishap with the internet.

Her friend posted about the flub-up on Reddit, saying: "My friend's food kept tasting funny. She bought new saucepans and was about to buy a new dishwasher, then I saw what she was cooking with."

She quickly became a laughingstock around the internet, but what many people fail to see is that they are cooking and eating chemicals, sometimes on a daily basis, that they don't fully understand -- chemicals that should never be in food in the first place.

Sodium nitrites, for example, are added to meats to make them look red and more appetizing, but ultimately this additive breaks down in the digestive system into cancer-causing nitrosamines.

Monosodium glutamate is another additive that causes damage and is used to get people addicted to certain food products. The additive causes nerve damage by overexciting nerves.
