(NaturalNews) Tremendous success this past spring of the Internet-streamed docu-series The Quest for the Cure has led organizers of that event to create and host a brand-new docu-series that will feature more experts discussing a range of natural cures for cancer.

The pre-launch of the new series begins September 29 and runs through October 12. The actual docu-series will stream on the Internet from Oct. 13 through Oct. 24.

One of the featured experts will be Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., a board-certified family practitioner and one of the foremost experts on holistic medicine. According to Dr. Brownstein's website, he is currently the medical director of the Center for Holistic Medicine located in Bloomfield, Michigan.

Dr. Brownstein has lectured internationally to doctors, other healthcare providers and laypersons about the success that he has had in using natural hormones and nutritional therapies to treat a range of conditions in his practice.

He graduated from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Medicine, and is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as the American College for the Advancement in Medicine (and he is a retired soccer coach).

Dr. Brownstein has also received a pair of prestigious awards from his peers and colleagues. According to his website, the first -- called the Norman E. Clarke Sr. Award for Science and Practice -- was given him by the American College for the Advancement in Medicine in 2005, at the group's annual meeting.

His second one also came in 2005, from the American Academy of Integrative Medicine at their annual meeting in Florida. It was titled the 2005 ARC Excellence Award for Distinguished Clinician, and it was given in recognition of his "Advancement in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Diseases."

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Brownstein is the author of 11 books, including Drugs That Don't Work and Natural Therapies That Do, Overcoming Thyroid Disorders, The Guide to Healthy Eating, and The Guide to a Dairy-Free Diet.

In his books, Dr. Brownstein discusses his holistic, natural treatment of a number of conditions including adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome, immune disorders, hormone imbalances, headaches, migraine headaches and diabetes.

Dr. Brownstein is also an activist for medical truth. In a recent blog post, he wrote about a subject that Natural News Editor-in-Chief Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, has also been sounding an alarm about: a recent frank admission by a former Centers for Disease Control physician, Dr. William Thompson, regarding the link between vaccines and autism:

I can't believe that I am still writing this, but the genocide of our children continues. This is the fourth blog post about the CDC whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, who co-authored the adulterated 2004 study which claimed the MMR vaccine was not associated with autism. Dr. Thompson has admitted that the paper's data was altered to hide a 240% increase in autism in African American children who were vaccinated before 36 months of age when they were compared to those vaccinated later.
