Canadian border is vulnerable to Ebola and other weaponized pathogens

(NaturalNews) As the Ebola outbreak widens in Africa, there have been increasing concerns that the virus could eventually be spread to other parts of the world, due to modern modes of travel. There has also been growing concern in the United States as well, especially as the immigration crisis along the U.S. Southwest border has worsened over the summer.

But one conservative activist has just shown that Ebola -- or a weaponized form of another kind of pathogen -- can also make it into the country via our northern border with Canada, which is far less patrolled than our southern boundary.

As reported by Britain's Daily Mail:

An Ebola-infected ISIS terrorist could easily motorboat across Lake Erie and reach Ohio from Canada, according to an American conservative filmmaker who videotaped a fictionalized one-jihadi incursion across Lake Erie and released the footage [recently].

Weapons of mass destruction, Ebola and weapons can be brought into the U.S. via Canada

"On the eve of the 9/11 anniversary our man, dressed as an ISIS terrorist was able to cross Lake Eris, walk off a boat into Cleveland, Ohio -- and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame," conservative documentarian James O'Keefe narrates in his short film. "At no point did anyone even question [him] or ask him what he was carrying in his suspicious brown duffel bag."

The paper said that O'Keefe's latest videotaped stunt comes as the world is growing increasingly unnerved by two global events: the rise of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and the continued spread of the Ebola virus. U.S. officials and the Obama administration have publicly downplayed the significance of the former, but behind the scenes, plans are being made to strike a heavier American blow than has been struck in the past, in large part due to the group's growing power and influence over a widening portion of the Middle East.

O'Keefe's video shows a "jihadi" with a British accent, who is dressed in black clothing, making his way across Lake Erie -- which separates Ohio from the Canadian province of Ontario -- in a small motorized skiff.

"The British government says American journalist James Foley's ISIS assassin was an Englishman," says O'Keefe, as he narrates his film.

"British intelligence believes more than 500 British citizens have joined ISIS. Brits can enter Canada without a visa; it's virtually an open door," he said.

In his short documentary film, the activist meets up with a "terrorist" player who had hired a small boat to bring him from Ontario to the middle of Lake Erie. There, both exchange greetings, and the phony terrorist then hops aboard O'Keefe's small boat.

"On August 17, we stole Ebola from a lab in Liberia," said the phony terrorist. "We took the bandages and the bed sheets and then we covered ourselves in it and hoped that we'd get infected.

"The incubation period is about 21 days, and -- well, it's been about 21 days," he continued.

O'Keefe last made waves when, in August, he produced a short video showing how an Islamist terrorist could simply waltz into the United States from Mexico. The "terrorist," who was dressed like none other than the late Osama bin Laden, simply waded across the Rio Grande into Texas without being detected by any U.S. border agencies.

'You can import anything you want to'

"We went to Texas and saw little border security," O'Keefe said in an interview with the Daily Mail. "[N]ow we've discovered there's even less border security on the Canadian border."

His phony jihadist character, in the latest video, is also carrying a small bag marked "Ricin," which is a highly toxic, naturally occurring lectin; just a few grains can kill a human being. The Mail reports what happens next in the video:

Playing the part to the hilt, the actor points to a fresh-water intake port that serves the Cleveland, Ohio metropolitan area, and tells O'Keefe, 'The water supply is over there. If we put it in there, it will kill a lot of Americans.'

As he looked into the camera, O'Keefe ensures viewers that the terrorist, his "ricin" package and Ebola-soaked linens are only make-believe, but he warns ominously that "anyone can cross this border. You could cross in a Jet-Ski if you wanted to."

"You could import weapons, you could import whatever you wanted to, because there's no detection on our borders," he continued.
