(NaturalNews) What's the average price of conventional chicken per pound right now? $3.68 is your packaged price for hormone-laden, antibiotic-loaded chicken. What's the cost for that same pound of chicken without antibiotics? $5.50 is your cost for a pound of chicken without medication that breeds superbugs. What is the average cost of organic chicken, which means that the birds are not given hormone injections, antibiotics and genetically altered food, and are not genetically modified themselves? You may be asking why chicken WITHOUT antibiotics costs more, when Western Medicine loves antibiotics, because they kill disease, pneumonia, viruses, bacteria and the flu, right? Isn't that why allopathic doctors prescribe antibiotics for just about anything that causes a high fever? About 80% of all antibiotics sold in the United States each year are used in this kind of animal production. Even veterinarians sell these drugs to farmers. Very common with raw chicken, food poisoning comes from E. coli and Enterococcus that are simply different measures of FECAL contamination. Did you touch your chicken before you cooked it? Does it even matter? Does cooking get rid of the hormones, the antibiotics and the GMO cells that were breeding cancer in the chicken before its "untimely death"? This is highly doubtful, seeing that over 2 million illnesses per year in the U.S. are caused by bacteria and fungi that are resistant to at least some classes of antibiotics, and over 23,000 deaths by those superbugs. How many chickens in the mass feeding operations have cancer right now?

A CAFO is a confined animal feeding operation, in case you hadn't heard. This is like an Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp for animals before they get gassed (beheaded or throat slit). They are thoroughly abused from birth to death. They are treated not as animals but as fast food supply and demand -- period. All animals on Earth have cells that can mutate from eating chemical-laced food, like GMOs. When you eat cancer meat, your "meat" becomes toxic -- your stomach, your intestines, your organs, your brain and your heart. You become a GMO -- a genetically modified organism that grows pesticide inside your body, in your gut, where the bacterial balance is so out of whack that you get cancer. But it all starts with E. coli and Salmonella, and that's why corporations feed the nightmare with antibiotics, to stave off disease long enough for dumb Americans to buy it, consume it and fall prey to the largest sick care industry in the whole world. Less than half a year ago, Consumer Reports found a dangerous strain of Salmonella in a sample of Foster Farms raw chicken, which matched the strain of the outbreak in 17 states. This came from three different processing plants in California, according to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), so don't go thinking that it was just one unlucky CAFO. Oh no, this is just the epitome of a whole "junkie" food system gone awry. Because this individual test matched the nationwide outbreak strain, Urvashi Rangan, Ph.D., toxicologist and executive director of the Consumer Reports Food Safety and Sustainability Center, felt the need to go national with the news. Not only was this outbreak of Salmonella widespread, but it was severe. This strain is resistant to MULTIPLE antibiotic drugs. If you haven't heard of superbugs yet, you can't say that anymore. Welcome to Obamacare, where you get superbugs (combinations of viruses/bacteria/GMOs) from the food, get more superbugs in the hospital, and then even more in the drugs they prescribe you! Wow, what a country! What a superpower!

And what's that I hear... wait for it... NO recall! Americans are just told by Foster Farms to cook that chicken well. "Yep, I cooked it through and through -- right on the grill. Looks great Margaret! -- Looks good to me too Harold. I can't see any superbugs on it, so grab the BBQ sauce and let's eat!"

Similar warnings for conventional turkey and hamburger!

Consumer reports tested turkey and ground meat too. More than half of the packages of raw ground meat and patties tested positive for fecal bacteria, and some even contained Staphylococcus aureus, a leading cause of food-borne illness in the United States right now. Ninety percent, yes, you read that right, ninety percent of the samples from retail stores NATIONWIDE contained one or more of five bacteria for which they tested. On top of that horrific news, nearly every disease-causing organism from the 257 samples proved RESISTANT to one or more of the antibiotics commonly used to beat them back.

Do you know about mechanical meat with E. coli packed in the center?

Most cuts of beef that you buy in grocery stores or restaurants have been run through a machine that punctures them with blades (called blading) or needles (needling) to tenderize them. This process can drive bacteria, like the deadly pathogen E. coli, from the surface deep into the center of the meat, where they are harder to kill. "Would you like that filet mignon cooked rare, medium rare, or do you prefer raw E. coli?"

Mechanically tenderized beef caused at least five E. coli (O157:H7) outbreaks between 2003 and 2009, according to the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Seventeen thousand chickens die every minute for the chicken industry, most of them shortly after they are inhumanely abused. Imagine the total of all animals (including farm-raised fish) that go through this living nightmare, from birth to death. Hey, if it has eyes and parents, don't eat it. Just think how many animals you could save by becoming a vegetarian and sharing the information you now know! Knowledge is power.
