Insane public health officials propose serving fluoridated milk to UK schoolchildren

(NaturalNews) Public health officials in the U.K. resort town of Blackpool, located west of Manchester, have apparently gone mad drinking the fluoridated Kool-Aid, as new reports indicate that town officials there are pushing to have all public schoolchildren forcibly medicated with milk that contains added fluoride chemicals.

The Blackpool Gazette reports that the town's Health and Wellbeing board recently met to discuss the scheme, which was hatched in response to continued rejection by the local public of an artificial water fluoridation program. Since the people are opposed to consuming fluoride in their drinking water, officials are instead trying to add it to milk.

"Ideally we would like fluoridised water to be provided so that everyone has access to it, but that seems to be off the cards at the moment, with cost being an issue," stated Dr. Arif Rajpura, Blackpool's director of public health, to reporters. "The next best thing is milk fluoridisation."

The goal of the program, which the board overwhelmingly voted in favor of, is to stock 77 primary schools throughout the area with single-serving milk cartons containing added fluoride. Since many younger children in the area allegedly have poorer-than-average dental health, officials believe that feeding them fluoride at school will help remedy the problem.

But their reasoning for why they believe this to be the case is completely warped and has no basis in science. According to reports, health officials are of the persuasion that fluoride, when consumed orally, somehow ends up being excreted through saliva in the mouth to protect teeth.

Dr. Rajpura actually told reporters his belief that feeding children fluoride, as opposed to just administering it topically like at the dentist, will somehow help give them "the best chance in life." In his perception, consuming fluoride allows it to be time-released all throughout the day so that teeth are constantly exposed to it.

Technically speaking, yes, it is true that some ingested fluoride is eventually excreted through saliva where it might come into contact with teeth. But most ingested fluoride actually ends up in the blood and cells, where it displaces iodine and other important trace minerals. In fact, circulating fluoride and fluoride secreted through saliva are both evidence of fluoride poisoning, something of which Dr. Rajpura and his allies are apparently unaware.

"Sodium fluoride poisons enzymes," once stated James B. Sumner, a Nobel Prize winner for enzyme chemistry, about what fluoride really does to the body. "You don't want to put this substance into your body. Poisoning enzymes is what makes people sick; poisoning enzymes is what kills people."

In all of his excitement about fluoride secreting into children's mouths, Dr. Rajpura apparently also missed all of the science linking fluoride exposure to nervous system damage, cardiovascular problems, organ damage, bone loss, arthritis, calcification of the pineal gland and a host of other serious health conditions.

Multiple studies have also linked fluoride exposure to cancer, including copious data compiled by the National Toxicology Program illustrating a "preponderance of evidence" that fluoride is mutagenic. Another way of saying that it can damage human genes, the mutagenicity of fluoride has been shown in cases of bone, liver, breast and various other common types of cancer.

"Fluoride does nothing to help teeth," wrote one Blackpool Gazette commenter about the issue. "This is stated in fact from WHO [World Health Organization] studies over decades. Fluoride is a poison. ... So why would anyone in their right mind give it to their kids to drink?"
