(NaturalNews) A rising star in the world of professional skydiving, Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld was on his way to a world championship when tragedy struck. A plane carrying 22 skydivers, including Dan and his team, crashed near the Perris, CA drop zone. There were only six survivors.

Dan woke up from a coma six weeks later, wondering what happened. He'd suffered a broken neck, collapsed lung, crushed internal organs and numerous other internal injuries. Doctors informed him that he should recover and proceed to live a normal life, provided he never engage in contact sports or skydive again.

What stood out in Dan's mind, however, was the experience he'd just had with his best friend and skydiving partner, James, who died in the crash. In limbo between life and death, Dan and James had a lengthy conversation about what was happening and how they each should proceed. This singular experience has shaped Dan's life ever since.

Listen to the full account on this week's episode of Mental Health Exposed.

Miraculously, just seven months later, Dan and his team won the world championship of skydiving as representatives of the USA. Since then, Dan and company have gone on to win multiple world championships and make skydiving history.

Dan also organized and orchestrated the world's largest skydiving formation of 300 skydivers (perhaps you've seen the pictures online).

In this episode of Mental Health Exposed, I speak with Dan about his incredible experiences and learn what kinds of beliefs and attitudes he has used his entire life to create such remarkable success in spite of the worst kind of adversity.

Dan also explains the proactive approach to life that yields the best results, such as in this post about overcoming adversity by throwing the first punch!

If you have ever wondered what it takes to succeed against all odds, then you must download this episode.
