(NaturalNews) We don't normally toot our own horn here at NaturalNews, but with your help over the last year, we have achieved some remarkable victories and contributed strongly to key battles for freedom, liberty, healthy living and nutritional awareness. We even helped several people stay out of jail!

Here are the key milestones NaturalNews reached in 2011. Thank you for all your support, without which none of this would have been possible.

You can also watch my year-end video update from the new NaturalNews video studio that's now up and running!

Top NaturalNews achievements of 2011

• Julie Bass, the Michigan home gardener, saw all charges against her dropped after NaturalNews and InfoWars publicized the story. Today she is free, and she continues to teach her children how to grow tomatoes and cucumbers in their home garden.

• All charges dropped against Maryanne Godboldo: This Detroit mom was targeted by a Detroit SWAT team in a 12-hour standoff after she refused to let the state kidnap her daughter over a disagree about psychiatric drugs. Following enormous public protest (and lots of coverage on NaturalNews and across the alternative media), all charges were dropped against Maryanne and her daughter was returned to her custody.

• Huge awareness about Rawesome Foods raid and the California government's frame-up of Organic Pastures - NaturalNews broke the story about Rawesome Foods this year, releasing key information and photos from the raids, directly from our contacts on the ground there. Thanks to public pressure, awareness about government tyranny against food freedom has now skyrocketed, and more and more people all across the country now realize big government is the enemy of freedom. California's government in particular is run by power-hungry, ego-tripping maniacs who actually spent millions of dollars in taxpayer money to engage in a secret spying campaign against a wholesome milk food distribution center.

As the Health Ranger, I also publicized this story with Alex Jones at InfoWars, as well as RT America and other news organizations.

Traffic approaching 4 million unique visitors a month

• NaturalNews traffic grows well beyond 3 million unique visitors a month. In fact, we've now achieved 3.8 million unique visitors a month, according to Google Analytics. Our email list is rapidly growing, and our reach is expanding by the day. We don't artificially inflate our numbers, either, by buying traffic, or buying links... heck, we don't even advertise! This traffic is 100% organic word-of-mouth traffic from people like you who have a genuine interest in what we publish. Thank you for spreading the word about NaturalNews!

• Over 18,000 websites are now linking in to NaturalNews, helping it achieve the highest Facebook activity rating of any natural health website in the world. In terms of raw traffic, we've achieved the top 1,133rd website in the USA, according to Alexa (this number jumps around a lot, but that's what it was when I last checked).

• Our video site, NaturalNews.TV, has grown to become the largest natural health video website in the world, now serving up over 1 million video views a month. (And don't I know it every time we get the bill for the bandwidth...)

• NaturalNews also helped raise over $30,000 for Jeffrey Smith's IRT (fighting against GMOs), and we will continue to support the GMO labeling petition drive in California. Our non-profit Consumer Wellness Center also awarded thousands of dollars in nutrition education grant money to help women and children learn more about nutrition:

Health Ranger releases key videos and documentaries

• My Food Investigations documentary about fake blueberries in foods and cereals went super viral across the 'net in 2011, achieving 1.9 million views on NaturalNews.TV alone (not to even count YouTube views). Watch it now at:

• In terms of videos this year, we also launched the Vitamin Water deception video which is gaining some traction on the 'net:

• We also hit hard with the popular "Fluoride Deception" video that teaches people where fluoride really comes from (hint: It's a toxic waste chemical):

• Plus, we put out a mini-documentary called "The God Within." Part 2 still hasn't been posted, by the way, as we got sidetracked with other projects (aww, heck!)

• And just in time for the 2012 election run-up, we also launched a very intelligent cultural analysis video called "Freetopia"

New websites and a radio network!

• In terms of new website ventures, we launched AlternativeNews.com in 2011, which is growing each day in popularity as a place where you can find all the top headlines from across the 'net, all in one place:

• The NaturalNews Radio Network launched in early 2011, featuring Robert Scott Bell, who interviewed amazing guests like Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Jesse Ventura and many other top-notch people. His listenership exploded to 300,000 listeners a month today, and it's still growing! Check out the entire RSB Show archives, where you can download all these great interviews as MP3 files:

Robert also interviewed Suzanne Somers about natural therapies for treating cancer:

Also, listen to the Robert Scott Bell Show each weekday at:

• On the product side of things, we also launched our line of Storable Organics -- organic superfoods for long-term preparedness:

Hard-hitting articles and tools for awakening

• 2011 also saw NaturalNews launch a very popular "awakening" tool called the "Sheeple Quiz"

• We also put out an extremely popular food report called "25 Amazing Facts About Food"

• In addition to exposing the Adya Clarity fraud in 2011, we also exposed the Acai marketing fraud scam which the FTC targeted for lawsuits that have already achieved huge fines and criminal prosecutions:

• Also this last year, we openly challenged critics of homeopathy to drink their own toxic chemotherapy medicine, which they refused to do because they know their medicine is poison!

Important knowledge programs released under new content website

• In 2011, we launched the new Webseed.com website, which features the "premium" (paid) content on NaturalNews.TV. These are paid content courses, downloadable video seminars, audio programs and other media for self improvement and other topics. You can find all these at:

• In early 2011, I worked with Robert Scott Bell to launch both a financial preparedness program and a food preparedness program, all under the Webseed content system:

• In 2011, I also launched my new music personality, "Amethios," and launched my first song under that new name. It's called "We're Doin' Alright." Watch the music video or download the song at: www.Amethios.com

Giving thanks where it's due

None of this could have been possible without your help! YOU, the NaturalNews readers, are the primary force behind everything we do. We work our butts off to keep you informed, entertained and free. So thank you for all your support, and please keep linking to us, sharing our stories, sending out tweets and Facebook posts, etc. Every time you share a NaturalNews story, you help us expand our reach and awaken more people to a powerful message about truth, liberty and lasting health.

I want to thank all the allies who have helped NaturalNews succeed this year, including Gary Null, Alex Jones, George Noory (Coast to Coast), and all the radio show hosts, authors and advocates who promote our work.

Jim Marrs also earns my thanks for his outstanding work on his various books, one of which we named the "Book of the Year" for 2011:

I especially want to thank Ethan Huff, Sherry Baker, Tara Green, JD Heyes, PF Louis, Jonathan Benson, and all the other key writers for NaturalNews who covered breaking news all year long. We couldn't have done it without you, and your work is greatly appreciated. Thanks are also due to the contributing writers who submit their stories, including Dr. David Jockers, Anthony Gucciardi, Paul Fassa, JB Bardot, Elizabeth Walling, John Phillip, Dana Ullman and many others.

I personally want to thank all the liberty lovers out there, whether it's left-leaning OWS protesters who took to the streets, or right-leaning patriots who fight for the restoration of the U.S. Constitution, liberty is our key to victory against tyrants, and we must continue this effort in 2012 and beyond. If you want health freedom, you must have A Bill of Rights (and civil liberties) as a prerequisite! This necessitates revoking the power that Big Government has now abused and turned against the People.

All power begins within the People and is only granted to government for specific, limited purposes. When a government steps outside the bounds of the limited powers granted to it, it is our DUTY to take steps to revoke that power and shrink government back down to a controllable beast (rather than the uncontrollable monster it has become). This is why Ron Paul is the man we need in 2012. NaturalNews will continue to support his efforts to gain power so that he can strip that power down to size.

Thank you all for a great year in 2011, and 2012 looks to be even more exciting!

About the author:Mike Adams (aka the "Health Ranger") is a best selling author (#1 best selling science book on Amazon.com) and a globally recognized scientific researcher in clean foods. He serves as the founding editor of NaturalNews.com and the lab science director of an internationally accredited (ISO 17025) analytical laboratory known as CWC Labs. There, he was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for achieving extremely high accuracy in the analysis of toxic elements in unknown water samples using ICP-MS instrumentation. Adams is also highly proficient in running liquid chromatography, ion chromatography and mass spectrometry time-of-flight analytical instrumentation.

Adams is a person of color whose ancestors include Africans and Native American Indians. He's also of Native American heritage, which he credits as inspiring his "Health Ranger" passion for protecting life and nature against the destruction caused by chemicals, heavy metals and other forms of pollution.

Adams is the founder and publisher of the open source science journal Natural Science Journal, the author of numerous peer-reviewed science papers published by the journal, and the author of the world's first book that published ICP-MS heavy metals analysis results for foods, dietary supplements, pet food, spices and fast food. The book is entitled Food Forensics and is published by BenBella Books.

In his laboratory research, Adams has made numerous food safety breakthroughs such as revealing rice protein products imported from Asia to be contaminated with toxic heavy metals like lead, cadmium and tungsten. Adams was the first food science researcher to document high levels of tungsten in superfoods. He also discovered over 11 ppm lead in imported mangosteen powder, and led an industry-wide voluntary agreement to limit heavy metals in rice protein products.

In addition to his lab work, Adams is also the (non-paid) executive director of the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (CWC), an organization that redirects 100% of its donations receipts to grant programs that teach children and women how to grow their own food or vastly improve their nutrition. Through the non-profit CWC, Adams also launched Nutrition Rescue, a program that donates essential vitamins to people in need. Click here to see some of the CWC success stories.

With a background in science and software technology, Adams is the original founder of the email newsletter technology company known as Arial Software. Using his technical experience combined with his love for natural health, Adams developed and deployed the content management system currently driving NaturalNews.com. He also engineered the high-level statistical algorithms that power SCIENCE.naturalnews.com, a massive research resource featuring over 10 million scientific studies.

Adams is well known for his incredibly popular consumer activism video blowing the lid on fake blueberries used throughout the food supply. He has also exposed "strange fibers" found in Chicken McNuggets, fake academic credentials of so-called health "gurus," dangerous "detox" products imported as battery acid and sold for oral consumption, fake acai berry scams, the California raw milk raids, the vaccine research fraud revealed by industry whistleblowers and many other topics.

Adams has also helped defend the rights of home gardeners and protect the medical freedom rights of parents. Adams is widely recognized to have made a remarkable global impact on issues like GMOs, vaccines, nutrition therapies, human consciousness.

In addition to his activism, Adams is an accomplished musician who has released over a dozen popular songs covering a variety of activism topics.
