(NaturalNews) Can you imagine your electricity bill being ZERO? Thanks to sun energy and better technology - it's easier than you think. The NaturalNews Talk Hour presents Solar Power - Getting Off the Grid with our special guest Chris Anderson, Chief Technical Officer of one of the largest solar electric companies in the United States.

"The NaturalNews Talk Hour is so informative and I value them and your passion to get the truth out to everyone!" - Stacy

The Power of the Sun

Question - how big is the sun? Did you know that the sun is the largest mass in our solar system? In fact, if the sun was hollow, it would take 333,000 earth size objects to fill the inside. That's big!

Without the sun - life would not exist. Many experts estimate that the sun is 4 and a half billion years old. So when will it "burn out"? Many experts guess another 5 billon years! Better tell our children - huh?

By the way, for you chemistry majors, the Sun is made out of 92% hydrogen, 7% helium and additional low number gasses. The core is the hottest part of its matter at 27 billion degrees Fahrenheit and may very well be our most important energy source of the future.

Join us for a highly-conscious, educational program designed to solve personal energy needs and environmental issues.

The NaturalNews Talk Hour begins this Thursday evening at 6pm Pacific / 9pm Eastern, and registration is FREE. Simply enter your email address in the registration form on the right column of this page and you'll immediately receive show details.

The Benefits of Solar Power

Clearly, solar power is a more reasonable energy resource. To depend on conventional public utilities and its use of fossil fuels, animal matter, or plant matter is expensive. Common sense tells us there has to be a better way.

The good news is that solar power is renewable! In other words, using it does NOT deplete its reserves. In addition, solar energy usage is non-polluting and free. And, unlike oil, solar power usage does not emit any greenhouse gases, or increase the risk of an ecosystem disaster - can anyone say "BP oil spill"?
