(NaturalNews) Following my previous review of SunWarrior protein (https://www.naturalnews.com/023547.html), I've kept in touch with SunWarrior founder Brent Hauver. Recently, he called and explained he was considering formulating a SunWarrior Protein Bar, using only 100% natural, mostly raw, mostly organic, vegan-friendly ingredients. When he asked what I thought should go into the bar, I mentioned that NaturalNews readers would be the best people to ask, because they are the most well-informed, discerning natural health consumers in the world. And thus began the SunWarrior NaturalNews Challenge, where Brent is now challenging NaturalNews readers to come up with the best natural protein bar in the world.

This is where you come in: I've created a detailed survey where you can participate in an unprecedented event: The open-source creation of a new, natural protein bar based on the input of thousands of readers from NaturalNews! And -- this is the cool part -- if you wish, your name will be listed in the credits of the bar!

You can go straight to the survey here: http://fs8.formsite.com/Arial/ProteinBar/

There, you'll be able to tell us exactly what you want to see in a natural protein bar. What sweeteners do you prefer? How many total calories? How many grams of protein? What ingredients would you like? You can directly influence the formulation of this bar by taking part in this survey and joining the first open-source product formulation event in the history of the natural health industry.

Why many minds are better than one

This is an historical event. Never before has a natural products company reached out to a community of well over one million readers to ask for help in formulating a product. Usually, companies just produce what they want, or what they think you'll like. Very rarely do they actually ask a large group of discerning natural health consumers what YOU would like.

But that's exactly what we've done here, and this gives you an opportunity to directly influence the formulation of a protein bar that's headed for greatness. If we get the formulation right, and consumers really like the bar, this could turn out to be the leading natural protein bar in the industry. It's the only one, for certain, based on SunWarrior protein (which is my #1 plant-based protein supplement). You might ultimately see this bar in Whole Foods and other health food stores.

When you take the survey, you even get to vote on the name of the bar!

But there's even more to this story...

After telling Brent I would be thrilled to contribute my time and effort in connecting NaturalNews readers to his new protein bar formulation, I mentioned something that I think you'll agree with: If the NaturalNews community comes up with the bar formulation, then the NaturalNews community should get a royalty on the bar, don't you think?

So I suggested that if SunWarrior chooses the formulation created by NaturalNews readers, then a small royalty on the sales of the bar should come back to NaturalNews to support this community. That way, we all get rewarded for the concept that we've collectively created. Those royalties, of course, would be used to fund NaturalNews operations: Videos, podcasts, cartoons, investigative articles and much more. It's all about bringing you better, more useful content to enhance your health and protect your health freedom.

But earning this royalty is not a 100% sure thing. We actually have to come up with a formulation that SunWarrior really likes. If they don't choose our formulation, then we earn nothing. But if they do choose our formulation, we could potentially earn an ongoing royalty that would help NaturalNews fund operations for years to come -- all by licensing the NaturalNews protein bar formulation to SunWarrior!

How you can help NaturalNews create a winning natural protein bar right now

So now it's up to all of us -- members of the NaturalNews community -- to create a formulation that's the best in the industry. Let's create the natural protein bar that WE want to eat, shall we? And then we'll finally have the bar we want, and it will be so much better than the more common protein bars on the market that just aren't up to the level of NaturalNews readers.

So consider this: What do you really want in a natural protein bar? We want it to use high-end ingredients, to taste fantastic, and to be affordable and healthy all at the same time. That's a tall order, but with your participation, I'm optimistic that we can collectively achieve the right formulation that results in a winning protein bar!

To participate, simply take the survey here: http://fs8.formsite.com/Arial/ProteinBar/

This is your chance to help formulate a new protein bar from the ground up! And it's a rewarding way to be part of an exciting open-source challenge that's never been attempted before in the natural health community!

Pioneering a new trend in the natural products industry?

When it's all complete, this will be the first community-created natural protein bar in the world. And you know another cool part? You can optionally enter your name on the survey and you'll be given credit for taking part in the bar's formulation! Yep, there will be a full page of credits on SunWarrior.com (and NaturalNews.com) that lists all the people who took part in the formulation.

So you'll be able to actually see your name as one of the participants who created this bar. Pretty cool, huh?

You'll also be taking part in this unprecedented product formulation process that's never been done before. This is a pioneering idea for the industry, and if we make it work, it could be the start of a revolution in community-based product formulation activities. Imagine if ALL the natural health companies asked their customers what they wanted before they finalized all the formulations? I think it's a fantastic idea! After all, it's the consumers who are ultimately buying these products, so shouldn't these companies ask the consumers what they want in the first place?

Be part of this SunWarrior / NaturalNews innovation. And help make history in the natural products industry!

He serves as the founding editor of NaturalNews.com and the lab science director of an internationally accredited (ISO 17025) analytical laboratory known as CWC Labs. There, he was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for achieving extremely high accuracy in the analysis of toxic elements in unknown water samples using ICP-MS instrumentation. Adams is also highly proficient in running liquid chromatography, ion chromatography and mass spectrometry time-of-flight analytical instrumentation.

Adams is a person of color whose ancestors include Africans and Native American Indians. He's also of Native American heritage, which he credits as inspiring his "Health Ranger" passion for protecting life and nature against the destruction caused by chemicals, heavy metals and other forms of pollution.

Adams is the founder and publisher of the open source science journal Natural Science Journal, the author of numerous peer-reviewed science papers published by the journal, and the author of the world's first book that published ICP-MS heavy metals analysis results for foods, dietary supplements, pet food, spices and fast food. The book is entitled Food Forensics and is published by BenBella Books.

In his laboratory research, Adams has made numerous food safety breakthroughs such as revealing rice protein products imported from Asia to be contaminated with toxic heavy metals like lead, cadmium and tungsten. Adams was the first food science researcher to document high levels of tungsten in superfoods. He also discovered over 11 ppm lead in imported mangosteen powder, and led an industry-wide voluntary agreement to limit heavy metals in rice protein products.

In addition to his lab work, Adams is also the (non-paid) executive director of the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (CWC), an organization that redirects 100% of its donations receipts to grant programs that teach children and women how to grow their own food or vastly improve their nutrition. With a background in science and software technology, Adams is the original founder of the email newsletter technology company known as Arial Software. Using his technical experience combined with his love for natural health, Adams developed and deployed the content management system currently driving NaturalNews.com. He also engineered the high-level statistical algorithms that power SCIENCE.naturalnews.com, a massive research resource featuring over 10 million scientific studies.

Adams is well known for his incredibly popular consumer activism video blowing the lid on fake blueberries used throughout the food supply. He has also exposed "strange fibers" found in Chicken McNuggets, fake academic credentials of so-called health "gurus," dangerous "detox" products imported as battery acid and sold for oral consumption, fake acai berry scams, the California raw milk raids, the vaccine research fraud revealed by industry whistleblowers and many other topics.

Adams has also helped defend the rights of home gardeners and protect the medical freedom rights of parents. Adams is widely recognized to have made a remarkable global impact on issues like GMOs, vaccines, nutrition therapies, human consciousness.

In addition to his activism, Adams is an accomplished musician who has released over a dozen popular songs covering a variety of activism topics.
