Mike: Where can people find Larabars now? What retail establishments carry them?
Lara: Well, generally, we're most distributed in natural food stores, so Whole Foods Market, Wild Oats Market, any of your local natural foods type of stores. If you’re in Colorado, we're in King Soopers, which is a Kroger store. We're getting ready to go into Ralphs in California. And you know, they are just kind of popping up here and there in some convenience stores are going to carry at some point. We have a lot of stuff down the line as you know, coming in the next few months. And right now people can go on our website at Larabar.com, and we have a store locator there, and it's a little map, and you can see by state which stores carry our product.
We're also in the Canadian market as well right now. So if anybody lives up in Canada, we're in the natural food... a lot of the natural food stores up there too.
Mike: And can people order online from your site?
Lara: They can. They can go online and order direct from us. You know, it's always easier if you have a store near you that carries it. But certainly, we are happy to send bars to people from here if they can't find them locally.
Mike: Okay. That's great. It’s funny because we had one sample box sent to us to try. And I think there were two of each flavor in there. And I took a couple, and when I came back the next day, the staff had eaten everything! And I said, ”Well, next time I order, I'm going to have to order a whole case of these, because they are just disappearing quickly.” But people can order by the case right?
Lara: Yeah. Actually, online, we only sell by the case. So it's a box of 16 that you would order.
Mike: All right. And what's the price on that by the way?
Lara: The price on that is $29.99 plus shipping. And different stores sell them, if you go to a regular grocery store, they'll sell them individually, but most stores do sell boxes as well. And a lot of stores will offer a small discount to buy like a case discount or something like that. So that's something that's good for people to know.
Mike: Okay. Are there any other thoughts that you want to share with the readers and listeners here?
Lara: I guess basically that we're just as a company, we feel like we offer something different and unique and the importance of putting good food in your body. We're really committed to that as a company. And we're just excited about this message out there.
Mike: That’s great to hear! It’s wonderful to see people like you in the food business.
Lara: Well, I love it! And I can't imagine doing anything different.
