Healthcare workers at risk for developing asthma on the job

A new study shows that healthcare industry workers may be more likely than others to develop asthma on the job. The study found that, over five years, healthcare workers accounted for 15 percent of asthma cases in which the disease was related to a person's occupation. But only 8 percent of the population works in the healthcare industry.
