Brighteon.com: Pete Santilli tells of how Trump pardoned Oregon ranchers who occupied wildlife refuge
07/26/2018 // Ethan Huff // Views

In a show of solidarity and support for father and son ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond – who, as you may recall, were thrown in prison under false pretenses after a fire occurred on federal land in Oregon back in 2016 – President Trump recently issued pardons for the pair, which has set off a firestorm of controversy.

During a recent segment of the Robert Scott Bell Show, independent journalist Pete Santilli explained how he, too, was imprisoned for 619 days – the longest held journalist and political prisoner in American history – simply for reporting the truth about the incident. Santilli was also accused of being involved in the planning that ultimately led to the takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, which is where the standoff with the Feds took place.

In case you aren't aware, Santilli was among the first on the ground to begin reporting about what was taking place at the refuge, which made him an immediate target of the Feds who launched a massive disinformation campaign against him. Santilli was falsely accused of a number of crimes, including that he was one of the culprits rather than merely a reporter.

"They alleged that I actually conspired to help those people take over the refuge, and commit crimes against the United States," stated Santilli.

Hillary Clinton had Loretta Lynch sign off on Santilli's arrest for reporting on a $140 million money laundering scheme through Clinton Foundation

In Santilli's view, had Clinton been elected president, she likely would have have had him tried as a terrorist and thrown into Guantanamo Bay. Instead, with Trump at the helm, Santilli is a free man who's openly telling his side of the story as to what happened at the stand-off – and how, despite what his persecutors claim, the Clinton scandal is more than likely tied to the standoff.

"After a month of broadcasting the news about the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge takeover, I broadcasted Hillary Clinton ... she had $140 million funneled through the Clinton Foundation, and within 10 hours I was in handcuffs," Santilli says, explaining that this all occurred in January of 2016.

"And by the way, Loretta Lynch signed off on my arrest because I was a journalist ... Are they related? Well, they brought, of course, a 'conspiracy' allegation against me, and actually ended up dismissing the case ... they said the two weren't connected."

What this all suggests is that Santilli got a little too close for comfort to the truth, so Clinton and her cronies attempted to silence him. And they were successful for nearly two years until Trump came along and undid some of the damage.

Santilli was eventually dismissed from the Oregon case, though he had to fight like never before to make it happen. Santilli now refers to those at the FBI who orchestrated the charade – crooks like James Comey – as a "regime" of criminals who shameless fabricated investigation reports to try to take him down.

"Freedom of speech, First Amendment: there are violations of that by government all over the place," stated Robert Scott Bell during the segment in response to Santilli's story.

"It's not the people who are violating the law; it's not Pete Santilli who's violating the law – it's the people in government that were manipulating and doing things that were ultimately detrimental not only to the United States, but also to the people."
