(NaturalNews) A civil suit accepts a preponderance of evidence instead of evidence that proves guilt without any doubt. This civil suit demands a jury to hear it. It's simply suing Monsanto for false advertising with Roundup, the world's best selling herbicide.

According to the plaintiffs attorney T. Matthew Phillips, the science is there and he has scientists willing to testify. If it does go to the requested jury trial, the facts disclosed within that procedure become part of the public domain. These facts could publicly incriminate Monsanto as a toxic menace.

Here's the crux of this suit, which contains minimal legalese and can be accessed here.[PDF] It claims what Roundup asserts on it's label is false.

The label states in large letters: "Did You Know? Glyphosate targets an enzyme found in plants but not in people or pets."

It will be easy to prove it's false, which is another reason T. Matthew Phillips chose Los Angeles County Court instead of Federal Court. According to Phillips, California is generally pro-plaintiff when it comes to false advertising charges.

Why the Roundup label is false

The enzyme Roundup targets is EPSP glyphosate synthase. But it's not just in plants, it's in humans and animals. This enzyme is also part of the human gut microbiota. It's part of what the gut needs for digestion and to perform as a major part of our immune system.

Destroying that enzyme inhibits probiotic microbe colony life, leading to serious digestive issues such as Crohn's and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) as well as impair our natural immune systems now and cause even more potential harm to future generations.

The Roundup label also falsely implies only one enzyme is endangered. But glyphosate and its added ingredients that make it easily absorbed through plant tissue more effectively have been discovered by Seralini and other researchers to create a biocide that permeates and kills everything in its path in the soil even before it gets a chance to damage human organs.

You can't remove Roundup's herbicidal residue. Its effectiveness comes from the plants absorbing it into their cellular tissue. But you can wind up eating it. Glyphosate is often used on non-GMO grains to desiccate (dry out) grain crops to permit earlier harvesting.

Mainstream media blackout on this suit filed in Los Angeles County

Efforts to publicize this suit filed in Los Angeles County on April 20, 2015, have been rejected by the LA Times, NY Times, Huffington Post, CNN and Reuters, one of the world's largest news agencies. Attorney Phillips has been posting the suit in Wikipedia's Monsanto litigation section, but it keeps getting removed.

Phillips is the first private attorney to file a lawsuit against Monsanto for false advertising. The current plaintiffs are California residents and so far the class action suit's plaintiff position is restricted to "California residents who have purchased Roundup at anytime during the last four years."

However, class action suits that succeed or gain momentum in one area are often repeated against the same defendant in other areas.

The WHO has announced that Roundup is "probably carcinogenic to humans." This has been publicized, and revelations have surfaced that the EPA and Monsanto knew of Roundup's carcinogenic toxicity for decades.

It seems obvious that attacking Roundup in every way possible now is the best way to fight back against this major toxic chemical company that's attempting to control the food supply and poison us.

Your help is requested even if you're not a California resident

Even if you are not a California resident, your story and/or financial support will help further this guerrilla warfare we're forced to stage against Monsanto's evil empire because it rules our government and its agencies.

Remember, if this suit has any success, other attorneys, legal firms and Attorneys General in different states will pick up the same ball and pitch it at Monsanto's number one selling product, Roundup. Almost all GMO crops are designed to sell toxic Roundup. So this could create problems for them.
