(NaturalNews) Treating cancer through dietary and herbal regimens is efficacious and safe. But there are some exceptions. Statistically, a nutrient based protocol's efficacy is reduced with cancer patients who have received extensive chemotherapy and/or radiation therapies that destroy healthy cells. Now there are alternative options for cancer that also promote recovery from destructive orthodox medical consequences.
Chemo Issues
Chemo and radiation kills many of the healthy cells within the gastronomical intestinal tract (GI) as well as some cancer cells. This why there can be problems with nutrition based cancer protocols if one has had a lot of chemotherapy and/or radiation.
Regardless of what approach is used, there is still a basic dietary rule to remember. Avoid sugar and processed foods and liquids. Use organic produce as much as possible. This applies to those who insist on chemo or radiation as well as to nutrition based protocols. Cancer cells feed on glucose instead of oxygen. So don't feed those cancer cells anymore sugar, at least.
Dr. Max Wicha, a leading mainstream orthodox cancer researcher, publicly confesses that current orthodox cancer protocols cause cancer tumors to spread or soon reappear. He maintains that cancer stem cells remain after chemo or radiation to spawn more cancer cells with a vengeance.(1)
Bypassing the GI
Conversely, cancer cells cannot thrive in oxygen rich environments. This immediately brings up ozone therapy or any other method of intense oxygenation that does not depend on one's digestive capacity. Finding a good clinic or qualified therapist may be difficult, though there are self administering techniques available. (2)
Health journalist Ed McCabe (Mr. Oxygen) covers all these techniques well in his book Flood Your Body with Oxygen.(3) Make sure you consult with a qualified, experienced oxygenation therapist who understands the need to properly eliminate and avoid extreme Herxheimer (healing crisis) events, especially if the disease is in the lungs.(4)
Although it is wise to confront cancer holistically using more than one alternative therapy, direct oxygenation is contraindicated for use with the Budwig Diet. Johanna Budwig developed her dietary protocol to deliver oxygen directly to cancer cells.
Orthomolecular medicine has another solution for treating cancer without depending exclusively on the digestive system: Mega dose intravenous vitamin C.(5)
Alternative cancer therapy expert R. Webster Kehr recommends using Raymond Royal Rife's technology or more recently developed similar approaches that also use radio frequencies to destroy cancer cells and microbes within cancer cells.
And now there is a stem cell enhancer. It enhances one's existing stem cells to repair cellular damage from cancer and chemo.(6) Mr. Kehr reports specific new techniques and products that can be used to both repair chemo damage and get into working on the cancer itself without depending on a relatively healthy GI.(7)
Conclusion
It's not unusual to see an alternative cancer nutrition based therapy with an over 80 percent recovery rate drop to around 50% for those previously heavily radiated or flooded with chemotherapy.
Of course, those mainstream approaches do not exceed even a five percent cure rate using their own standard of cure: five years tumor free. Even the low of 50% for alternative therapies is ten times greater. And that's without suffering horrendous side effects and outrageous expense.
However, it is important that even with therapies that are not nutrition based, one should avoid sugar and processed foods completely while adhering to organically produced whole foods.
