Delicious
(NaturalNews) If you've never seen a band of raw foodists picking wild saguaro cactus fruit, you're in for a real treat. When I used to live in Tucson, I went out with David Wolfe, Raw CEO and several other wild foods enthusiasts to pick raw saguaro cactus fruit from the Sonoran desert. It's one of the craziest and most bizarre fruit picking events you've ever seen, and I've got the video to prove it!

Check out the video experience with David Wolfe right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5C-P9e5EOs

Additional footage from our 3-day wild foods adventure is available in a second video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50xYSRMq09o

Saguaro Cactus Fruit is one of the most delicious wild foods you'll ever taste. It's like eating nature's candy! And you'll never find it available for sale because picking Saguaro Cactus Fruit is illegal on public lands. (In these videos, we picked them on private land with the permission of the property owner.)

Saguaro Cactus Fruits are also extremely difficult to harvest. They require a deep commitment to wild foods and the willingness to work in 112-degree temperatures in the desert sun, surrounded by the hazards of the desert (jumping cholla plants, rattlesnakes, etc.)

But we love a challenge, so we joined David Wolfe's cactus fruit picking adventure and headed into the Sonoran desert north of Tucson, Arizona to grab some of this fruit for ourselves. It's hard work!

David Wolfe is the key educator at The Best Day Ever (http://www.thebestdayever.com), a popular longevity website that's filled with thousands of hours of audio and video content (membership required).

David is one of the most dynamic and fascinating persons I've ever met, and his knowledge of wild foods is extraordinary. He's been living on a 100% raw foods diet for well over a decade, and he continues to travel the world, exploring wild foods and sharing his knowledge with others through a variety of educational events.

I'm often a guest speaker at David's longevity events, by the way, so you'll likely see me in person at some of his future events in California or other locations.

We've got more footage of our Sonoran cactus fruit picking adventure, too, so watch for that to be posted shortly!

Enjoy the two videos we have for you right now:

About the author:Mike Adams (aka the "Health Ranger") is the founding editor of NaturalNews.com, the internet's No. 1 natural health news website, now reaching 7 million unique readers a month.

In late 2013, Adams launched the Natural News Forensic Food Lab, where he conducts atomic spectroscopy research into food contaminants using high-end ICP-MS instrumentation. With this research, Adams has made numerous food safety breakthroughs such as revealing rice protein products imported from Asia to be contaminated with toxic heavy metals like lead, cadmium and tungsten. Adams was the first food science researcher to document high levels of tungsten in superfoods. He also discovered over 11 ppm lead in imported mangosteen powder, and led an industry-wide voluntary agreement to limit heavy metals in rice protein products to low levels by July 1, 2015.

In addition to his lab work, Adams is also the (non-paid) executive director of the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (CWC), an organization that redirects 100% of its donations receipts to grant programs that teach children and women how to grow their own food or vastly improve their nutrition. With a background in science and software technology, Adams is the original founder of the email newsletter technology company known as Arial Software. Using his technical experience combined with his love for natural health, Adams developed and deployed the content management system currently driving NaturalNews.com. He also engineered the high-level statistical algorithms that power SCIENCE.naturalnews.com, a massive research resource now featuring over 10 million scientific studies.

Adams is well known for his incredibly popular consumer activism video blowing the lid on fake blueberries used throughout the food supply. He has also exposed "strange fibers" found in Chicken McNuggets, fake academic credentials of so-called health "gurus," dangerous "detox" products imported as battery acid and sold for oral consumption, fake acai berry scams, the California raw milk raids, the vaccine research fraud revealed by industry whistleblowers and many other topics.

Adams has also helped defend the rights of home gardeners and protect the medical freedom rights of parents. Adams is widely recognized to have made a remarkable global impact on issues like GMOs, vaccines, nutrition therapies, human consciousness.

In addition to his activism, Adams is an accomplished musician who has released ten popular songs covering a variety of activism topics.
