Eugene, Ore.'s KVAL 13 website reports that Oregon scientist Amala Soumyanath, Ph.D, and her colleagues will use $25,000 in grant money to study the effects of the herb gotu kola on Alzheimer's disease, since the herb was found to reverse behavioral deficits in a mouse model for Alzheimer's disease.
