Gateway debuts new laptop with extended battery life; notebook can run for up to ten hours

Gateway has unveiled the M460, a notebook computer weighing less than six pounds and delivering as much as ten hours of battery life. The $899.99 laptop has a 1.3 GHz Intel Celeron processor, 256 MB of memory, and a 40 GB hard drive. The system has a normal battery life of four to seven hours, and a modular battery can be added to bring the total power to as long as ten hours.
