Ten years after Health Ranger warned about cancer from processed meat, WHO confirms the risk

by L.J. Devon, Staff Writer

(NaturalNews) Don't expect the truth to come pouring out of the mouths of official sources. Many honest truths are kept hush-hush and swept under the rug to protect the appearance of an organization. It is considered a shame for a whistleblower to tell the truth about any industry, especially when the truth could disrupt that industry's bottom line, threaten its power structure, or bring it down entirely.

Official stories have one purpose: to protect an establishment's power. If a truth finds a way to seep through the cracks and break out into the open, it often happens years or even decades too late.

Need an example? Look at Monsanto's history of poisoning the land and the population with DDT while claiming it's safe. DDT is now banned worldwide.

Populations are routinely exposed to cancer-causing chemicals in food, agriculture, vaccines, body care, and medicine because industries and their official sources are never questioned or held accountable for their bold-faced lies. Entire corporations and economies are built around lies that are perpetuated by official stories. This is why truth seekers are often called conspiracy theorists and whistleblowers are called traitors. They are literally going up against years and decades of propaganda and brainwashing that has kept everyone blinded and subservient to power structures.

Why would a man tell the truth if his paycheck depends on the truth not being told?

WHO finally declares processed meats to be carcinogenic

This is why it is amazing to hear official media sources declare processed meat to be a carcinogen. For years, these products had been pumped out as safe, staple foods, allowing a fake meat industry to flourish.

Now the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization is finally publishing the truth about processed meats, classifying sausage, bacon and processed ham as group 1 carcinogens. This puts the fake meats that were once declared healthy in the same category as cigarettes, arsenic and asbestos.

Natural News reports the truth a decade before it goes mainstream

Natural News reported on this severity a decade ago. Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, warned specifically about sodium nitrite being a culprit in many cancer cases, interfering with a person's healthy cellular processes. Natural News is a decade ahead on this issue because we aren't afraid to shake the very core of society and improve life on this planet by publishing the cold, hard truth. Natural News is beholden to no corporate sponsors. We will continue to warn about cancer-causing glyphosate, even as the poison is sprayed all across farmland. We will continue to publish the negative effects of vaccine ingredients, including things such as aluminum, mercury, formaldehyde or aborted fetal cell lines.

Mike Adams wrote back in 2005: "Have you ever wondered why the consumption of processed meats is so strongly linked to cancers of the colon, breast, prostate and pancreas? The evidence continues to mount, as demonstrated by a recent study showing a 67% increase in pancreatic cancer for people consuming moderate amounts of processed meat on a frequent basis."

He warned that it wasn't the saturated fat content of processed meats that matters the most. It is the pollutants like PCBs, perchlorate, and mercury within those fat cells that had accumulated through the animal's questionable, non-organic diet that matters the most.

Adams also warned about the cancer-causing preservative called sodium nitrite, which flies under the radar as safe but is actually detrimental to the human digestive system. Once inside, this preservative releases nitrosamine compounds that ultimately enter the bloodstream and interfere with organ function, especially the liver and pancreas.

WHO is now confirming all of this, concluding that a 1.8-ounce portion of processed meat eaten on a daily basis increases colorectal cancer risk by 18 percent. When the processed meat industry and the scientists they fund heard the truth coming out, they responded furiously, rejecting any proof that these meat products cause cancer.
